Cuisinart DGB-900BC filter basket brew pause
You can push the soft rubber stop or valve back on the plunger stem with the flat side down. It can pull out if you are rough with it or if the plunger gets stuck in your dishes drip rack. But if it is torn you need to order a new basket because I don't think the parts are sold separately.

Hi ericwarner,
The blinking "2:00" on your machine is not an error code. Your coffee maker do have an Automatic Shutoff Time can be programmed anywhere from immediate shutoff after completion of the brew cycle up to four hours. The first setting which appears is preset at "2:00". Two hours is the default time. The 0:00 setting shuts the unit off immediately after brewing is complete. To check the current setting, press and hold the "On/Off" button and the Automatic Shutoff Time will be displayed. To change the preset time, press and hold the "On/Off" button until the red "power" light and LCD display begin to flash. This signals that you have entered the "Set Automatic Shutoff" mode.Press the "Hours" and "Minutes" buttons to scroll forward through the digits until desired time appears. The first setting which appears is preset at "2:00". When it's at "4:00", the next press key of "hour" will roll back to "0:00", since four hours is the maximum Automatic Shutoff setting.
Hope this helps.

My 12-cup grind and brew
Hello
What you can do is to try to find out if there really is something stuck. Usually, you can find the problem in the space between the grinder basket and the filter basket. If some coffee grounds are there, clean it.
Mix clean water with vinegar and dip a clean towel in it. Use it to clean that area. It will help dissolve the sediments and the coffee essential oils that have clung to the slot. If this is already clean, move on to the grinder motor.
Usually, Cuisinart provides a cleaning brush. Use this to clean the motor and remove any visible ground coffee that may have stuck there. Once you have cleaned this area already, it should work nicely again. Try grinding and it should work seamlessly.
Now that you have solved your Grind & Brew coffeepot problem, you should be able to enjoy a good coffee experience.
THANK YOU FOR VISITING FIXYA
We have a Cuisinart DGB-900
try cleaning the grind chute again. if problem persists:
this is a cronic problem with the DGB900BC even after cleaning. the problem is the gate or trap to the grounds needs to open/remain open during grinding or all backs up and jams. my unit opens the door (correctly) during the rotation but closes just before grinding (over-rotation?). Cuisinart is not aware of this problem (800-726-0190). please call them; i just have.
Coffee maker with grinder--sometimes, when
Coffee overflowing onto the counter is a common complaint found in response to many automatic drip coffee makers. The following are potential solutions that can be used to rule out "operator error" vs. a defect or malfunction:
1. Do not "pack" or otherwise overfill the cone/basket with grinds.
2. Ensure you are using the correct grind for an automatic drip coffee maker, neither too fine nor too course. (See instruction manual.)
3. Do not overfill with water. Use the carafe to pour water into the reservoir. This is because a "cup" in coffee terms is defined as 6 oz, not 8 oz.
4. Make sure the filter cone/basket clicks into place and that the carafe is centered and pushed all the way in.
5. Try a permanent filter rather than a paper filter or vice versa.
6. Only use the correct permanent or paper filter (see manual).
7. Verify that the Pause 'n Serve button isn't sticking. If it is activated too long the brew will escape over the top of the cone/basket. This may be more apt to happen if the alignment of the carafe and the basket is incorrect.
8. Clean your machine with vinegar or as instructed by your user manual at least three times per year, more if your water supply is hard. A properly cleaned machine is less likely to suffer a burned out heating element, to take too long to brew, to produce "off" tasting coffee, or to clog and overrun the filter basket as the water runs through the grinds.
9. Ensure that the coffee machine is sitting level on the counter.
Just bought a cuisinart grind & brew dgb-550
Push the program button one more time - the first push allows you to set the time, the second push stores the time you have just entered, and then you have to press it one more time to make the light next to the program button light up tell it to brew at the set time.
I just purchased a dgb
The constant beeping means that something is out of place - make sure the charcoal water filter holder is in place, even if there are no filters inside. Make sure the grind chamber and all parts are in place. Make sure the filter basket is in place, and that the door is closed. Finally, make sure the lid of the coffee maker tiself is shut and that the lid of the craffe is firmly in place. If everything is in place, it should stop beeping. Turn the coffeemaker off, and then on after all of this is done.

My Cuisinart CCJ-500P1 won't turn on how to repair
To repair it, one must find out what the cause is.
Do some fault finding first; check there is power at the switch and the motor has continuity etc.
When you have found the faulty part, then you can replace the faulty part or repair the break in the cable etc.
Cuisinart coffee maker.... clock light does not light
Switch it off and wait 10 minutes: Sometimes, if your coffee maker is still new and has water sitting in it for a long time, or if you have just cleaned it, you might see an error message saying that there is no water. Just turning them off and waiting 10 minutes will often solve the problem. Afterward, turn it back on, pour some water into it and try again! If for some reason it doesn't work after doing that, try the next steps mentioned below.
Reset the clock, then brew a cup of coffee: Check to make sure all of your connections are properly secured and tight. Even a half-turn can cause problems with appliances that use electricity, and it is important to remember not to force any connection into place. You may need a new plug for an appliance that's been in service for many years if you are having trouble getting power to it-don't assume anything! Many older appliances have worn or damaged wiring.
Turn it off and on again: The next logical step is to turn your coffee maker off and then back on again. This works with many small appliances and just might clear up whatever issue you're experiencing. In some cases, a reset button or power button will be present to make it easier. If not, try to turn it off at its power source (i.e., unplugging it) and then plug it back in afterward. If that doesn't work, try turning off your home's circuit breaker for a few minutes, if applicable, before returning power to it and trying again.
If these tips do not work, you might try the customer service of the manufacturer.
