This problem of waves when scrolling the internet has a very simple solution. You are having this problem of display because you do not have the correct VGA (vodeo graphics adapter) driver installed on your PC for your VGA card. All you need to do install this driver and it will stop.

This is how. You have two approaches:-
1. Install the vga driver from the system board CD if you have it.
2. Go to start, right click on My Computer, select properties, click on the hardware tab, select device manager. Wait for the Device Manager to appear. Right click on display among the list of devices and click on "update driver." This secon procedure requires internet connnection.

Ensure that the battery is in date and charging. Also it is the right battery amp hours and so forth. It could also be your adapter has weakened over time and can't handle the load of charging as well as powering up your PC at the same time. These are just possibilities. See if the Business where you bought your battery can test your adapter. It also takes a fair amount of time to charge a battery from initial use. If they can't maybe Radio Shack can test it for you

there are several things that could be causing this .
first if you onboard fan is not working the computer may be over heating and shutting it'self down.
your power supply is starting to fail and needs to be replaced or the connections on the mother board are loose and need to be pressed in all of the way
your system may have a virus or malware on it . and your operatins system is now corrupted.
I would try booting in the safe mode and than to do a system restore back to when this did not happen and see if thecomputer now works if so you might have a program that is damaged but if this still doesent work i think you are having a hardware issue . ok so please try these out first and let me know how they work

go to e-machines site and go to support/download type choose your computer model and you can see all the drivers you will need.

Is this a laptop or a desktop? There are4 two definitions above. I believe it's desktop. Are you adding 1G to 512M? you may need to get the same brands Memory strip, or, you need to push the newer one down harder. If you are just adding 1G and this is happening, we'll discuss later.

Truth is it probably is just the power supply. It was well that you were protected by the power bar so as to avoid a catastrophe. You can try replacing the power supply, a 300 watt or greater is recommended. sometimes the power supply failure will damage the motherboard in the process.In that case, you may want to look into a new computer.

You have to start your PC with the XP cd-rom install disk, if you have
one.

Then, when you come to the screen with the following option displayed :


To repair a Windows XP installation using
Recovery Console, press R.


Then press [R] to start 'Recovery Console'

When confronted by a prompt asking you for Administrator password - just
press [ENTER]

Once in RC has started - type the following command :


expand x:\i386\hal.dl_ c:\windows\system32\hal.dll


(where [x:] is your cd drive-letter)

*NB If SP3 is installed - then the command you type must be :


copy c:\windows\ServicePackFiles\i386\hal.dll c:\windows\system32


....instead, as the files are of two different revision levels
(versions).


Then reboot.

clean the mouse or Change your Memory Card,
otherwise Delete your Temporary memory from the Chase

Unless it has a port for that memory stick you'll have to get an external one. Maybe you can get one installed in the front of you computer. Good luck.

Sorry to hear about your sound problems.
1. We can't diagnose your problems with the information you have left us.
If your speakers are with a amplifier, you may have a Bad Amp.
If you do not, you may have a Bad connection to the rear of your PC.

If you have a amplifier hocked up to your system, most of the time, if you unplug the sound, at the rear of the unit, you can hear a static sound, if you can hear this, your amp is working and you may have to reload the drivers for the sound system on your pc.

Before going thru all this trouble, you should check all connections first before proceeding any further.

Go to START=>RUN and type in
compmgmt.msc
On the left hand side, you will see a link that says DEVICE MANAGER. If you have a red 'X' or a yellow '!' or any unknown devices, that means that your driver is not loaded.
You should be able to find the drivers you need from here:

Problem is not with the drivers.Check mouse properties under control panel.

You can install a video card with a dual out feature, than you can run two monitors off the same PC if the video card, processor, and motherboard are "fast" enough to do this. Running 2 video cards can only be done on a motherboard that is SLI capable. ie. 2 PCI-e slots, and an SLI bridge.
