ATI RADEON X1650 Graphic Card - Page 7 Questions & Answers
Can i run ati radeon HD3650 512mb on asus k8N motherboard
firstly you need to make sure *********** board has a PCIe slot or a AGP... this is where your ATI HD3650 will go...see the graphic 512mb has nothing to with your main system RAM which is also 512mb.. so they wont be any problems as such and both will work together without any problems... but i suggest you to add another 512mb to your system RAM.. the difference between DDR and DDR2 is that... DDR2 is a bit newer and is faster in terms of memory read/write/access... do let me know if u have any futher problems....
Someone Pls. help
You need to install drivers. go to ati.com and get current drivers.
Can i run ati radeon x1650 512 on asus k8N motherboard
Yes you can run the AGP version of the Radeon 1650 pro on your system. It is always best & recommended to upgrade memory in pairs. You could upgrade to `gb by purchasing a 1 gb kit which would be 512 x 2. That way you have a matching pair of RAM modules. As for a cpu upgrade you can go to the Asus website and see what cpu's are supported by your motherboard. Hope this helps & please remember to rate my answer. Thanks.

PCI Graphic card for Tomb Raider underworld
Hi,
There are PCI slots in your Machine and one or two PCI-Express slots (one of which might be very short). Usually the Graphics PCI-Express slot is the one on top (right below the CPU).
In order to play Tombraider at a decent speed, you should consider buying a Graphicscard for about 100-120$ going to low will result in low framerates, going to high is not worth the money since graphics cards are becoming obsolete in a matter of 2 years or so...
so get yourself a decent PCE-E GraphicsCard and youll be all set!
Hope this was understandable =)
How do I connect My Pc to my TV
It will connect via a s-video cable only but on connecting you have to select it to display on the external device by selecting the option in your ATI panel in your control panel
Radeon x1650 pro graphics card isn't working correctly
Usually that happens only when the card isn't well seated on the slot, or damaged. I guess you've already checked the card is well seated and pushed into the slot. If you had, then the card can be damaged, probably from static or maybe even it has overheated when it worked and something broke, I'm sorry to tell.
ATI x1650 Pro Stops!?
For this card they recomment at leat a power supply rating of 450 watts. If you have lower than this then I would suggest upgrading the power supply. A 550 watt psu is reasonably priced and should give you plenty of power for future use. Hope this helps.
Flatscreen goes blank and displays the message
Out of range indicates that the refresh rate or resolution is set too high for the monitor to display. I would suggest re booting into safe mode by pressing F8 during boot, before windows begins to load. Select safe mode with networking if you can, and once in safe mode, uninstall the ati display driver from the control panel. Then go to ATI's site and download the latest driver for your card. Save that file to your desktop. Reboot normally, as Windows should load default vga drivers for your card. Once in Windows, install the latest driver you just downloaded. That should reset the resoultion to one that your monitor can display. Good luck:)
Graphics Card
It looks like, from Acer's website, that the sa90 has a PCIe-x16 graphics card.
To be sure, let's get this program:
http://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/
Scroll to the bottom for the download link. On the first tab, you'll see Bus interface. That's the type of card you have and the type you should buy to replace yours.
Monitor screen freeze with driver...
hi!
you don't need to update the driver cause the problem is in your hardware. Graphic seems to be a bit grounded, try cleaning the contact pins of your AGP graphic card with eraser, clean it side by side and then put it back again to an AGP slot, then boot your CPU again. If it still the same, try it in another motherboard that support you graphic card just to be sure before we conclude that its the graphic card has the problem. Anyway if it still under warranty you can claim for a replacement to the store where you bought the graphic card.
Have a nice day!
HELP FINDING A CARD TO FIT MY PCI SLOT
It is easy to get the PCI & PCIE stuff mixed up. PCI slots are all white doesn't matter who makes the board. PCIE however is all together different from a PCI slot. The PCIE slot sits fauther away from the back of the computer & so does a AGP. PCIE is a very long card. A PCI is not. The short slot you saw is also a PCIE slots. Not for video but more likely for network card. Most people never use them. Most likely the long slot above the short slot is a PCIE. So you want a card that is like what I'm going to list in this link.
