ATI RADEON 7000 PCI Graphic Card Questions & Answers
AGP video card red lines
Hi, I apologize that you are having issue's with your computer. Lets see if we can get this issue resolved.
Be sure the tower is unplugged during cleaning. - First, if you haven't already done so be sure to use a can of compressed air to remove any dust from the graphics card as well as any other components inside the computer case.
- Second make sure the graphics card is still properly seated into the AGP slot. Gently but firmly press down on the graphics card to ensure proper seating.
Once you have completed these two steps plug your tower back in and turn on the system. If you continue to see multicolored lines across the screen that means that the Graphics card will need to be replaced. If you need any other help or need further clarification please don't hesitate to respond.
Sound NEC vy13M/RF-U
NEC vy13m/RF-U is a laptop battery model #, not the model of the laptop. As for the ATI Radeon 7000 PCI graphics card, they don't supply audio if you're having sound problems. I would check the audio drivers in Device Manager.

Hello, have Vista Home Basic.
Does the box say it is supported? These new 64-bit systems are still just getting going.
I tried xp64 but switched back because most of my hardware would not work.
Did it ever work? again alot of stuff is done with the 64 bit opsys.
Go into the bios, and make the new board the primary display.
In my experience, ATI needs to be primary. Just switch to PCI Primary.
If you haven't done this yet, you probably need to uninstall the software, too.
so it can setup correctly.

Old drivers on xp sp3
Go to the AMD website (they bought ATI) and surf for the video/drivers page for the downloads. Also, dig deep on the page and go through all the known issues section - ATI does an excellent job of documenting when a computer/software/graphics combination has a problem.
Also check the Tosiba website for the same information- manufacturers often post "patches" for known problems.
Good Luck!

It's possible you are using the wrong drivers. I would re-install the software application that came with the card. If you right click on my computer, then left click on manage. Look for device manager and click on it. Look to see if the video card has a yellow exclamation mark on it. If it does then it's definitely the drivers. Re-install the sofware application for the video card. If you don't have the drivers go here ---------->
