Mach Speed MS945G-GLV Motherboard Questions & Answers
My computer wont start, no setup, no bios, nothing...
This is only a stab in the dark but are all your M/board fixing connected correctly
Hard drive etc.
One other way is to disconnect everything from M/board except for Video and memory and try to boot up if it does then connect hard drive etc one at a time rebooting each time until it will not boot that is the wrongly connected one
Sir mercury 945 system board interface with core 2
Hi,
I am assuming that your question is how to access the bios for your pc. The most common bios entry is to hit the DEL button after switching on. If this does not work, try F2 or F1 buttons after switching on.
Other than these, I am unaware of any other methods for entering the BIOS.
Best wishes,
Graemevm

Need help, put in new mother board and need help
There are probably cables coming from the front of the computer. On the motherboard, you will see 2 or more groups of pins where these cables go. Unfortunately, sometimes the cables don't have a single plug, but have one plug that has 3 holes and then 1 that has one. Many times, too, there are 2 sets. So--let's see if this helps:
The pins will be labled something like USB and then several numbers.
The pins look like this ::::. (hope that shows up OK)
If your usb cable end has one large (3-hole) plug and one small, the large one goes over the first 3 pins from left to right. The one on the left is labeled VCC. The separate plug goes on the 4th pin.
You can use the top row of pins or the bottom. Nothing goes on pin #5 on the bottom.
Does this help? If so, rate it accordingly, please.
IDE on MS945G-GLV
You might try to find a PCI IDE Card. That card should provide support for 2 or 4 drive. SASI (sp?, called sassi or scuzi at times) requires replacing the drives you have with scuzi drives.
Be sure it's a PCI IDE (EIDE) Card.

Motherboard not recognizing RAM
Is it exactly 3gig of ram?
You may have 4 sticks in but your onboard peripherals share the memory.
as such my 512mg stick is in but it shows me only 482mg.
Take into account your onboards.
Hope this Helps
My tablet is stuck on the start up screen.
The BIOS information is typically found at or near the top of the POST screen for a very short time
ALR PC non / PCI =CTRL+ALT+ESC
AMD advanced micro devices=BIOS = DEL
Award BIOS = DEL
Dtk Datatech Enterprises Co. BIOS = ESC
Phoenix BIOS = CTRL+ALT+S
Phoenix BIOS = CTRL+ALT+INS
Restart your computer
during the boot process you will see on the screen to press a certain key usually Delete or F2 to enter setup
this will differ depending on which bios you have
Press and hold that key during the boot up process to enter BIOS
if you have changed any of the BIOS settings by mistake
you can load failsafe or optimised defaultsusing the arrow keys you can after you make any changes in BIOS press Esc then press the F10 button save to cmos to restart
CMOS is an on-board semiconductor chip powered by a CMOS battery inside computers that stores information such as the system time and date and the system hardware settings for your computer..
this will reset your cmos
Motherboard specs
Hi dwman113,
Yes your Mach Speed MB will support 2x1 GB, Dual Channel Mode DDR2-800MHz, PC6400 memory modules. (Manual states the memory dimms should be paired).
Also known as matched memory.
Max Shared Video Memory is 256MB, refers only to the integrated built in video card.

Small example. CL3 runs faster than CL5.
You can run any PCI-Express 16x graphics card & it can be rev 2.0. Graphics cards are backwards compatible which means it will also run at v1.0. You should not buy a SLI card because you only have 1 PCI-E x16 slot. To run SLI, (Hooking up 2 PCI-E x16 cards together viva a small SLI connector) your motherboard would need two PCI-E x16 slots & the board must support SLI mode & your's does not. Here is the main web site link for your Mach Speed MSA2-6100V MB.

If you have any more issues or questions just post it & we'll go from there.
Good luck dwman113!
Mike
