I was just wondering where to put my Graphics card
I depends upon the type of graphics card you have purchased. The white slots are PCI expansion slots
and if the there is a longer slot in the middle of the motherboard next to the PCI slots, then it will be a AGP expansion slot.
APG graphics card are better graphics cards and these slots are designed for these graphics cards.

Hi,
This should be the front panel header configuration of that particular motherboard.
6-8 (red) is your power sw
2-4 (green) is your power LED
1-3 (yellow) is your HDD LED
5-7 (purple) is your reset sw
black is not connected
The motherboard should go into a custom case no problem.

Ex-plane what is a motherboard
The motherboard is the main part of the computer. The memory, processors, network, video, sound all are either built into the motherboard or are connected to it.
the picture above shows a basic motherboard.
why is it called a motherboard? because in general computer components are named by gender (females accept connections, males make connections) the motherboard accepts the all kinds of connections to make your computer work. I’m happy to help further over the phone at

No display
You need to do some simple tests. First make sure the monitor is working - test it with another pc.
Start by disconnecting everything and try to boot at least in the BIOS; if it's the same then replace the power source and try again; if it's the same then install another video card in it and try again; if it's the same then replace the memory sticks and try again. Finally replace the processor and try one more time - if even now you can't get the video to show up then the motherboard is dead, replace it.
No power. changed powersupply and replaced hard
Before swapping it out, I would try:
clearing the cmos, reseating the memory, checking the power switch (PS wire from the power button to the motherboard)
If you get no life then the board is bad and will have to be swapped out.
Windows no instel
During the boot process you will see on the screen to press a certain key to enter setup
Press and hold that key during the boot up process to enter BIOS the scroll down to advanced bios features press enter change your first boot device to cd,press escape then press f10 to save to cmos to restart
hope this helps
My dell. DHM cannot start
Hi.
Remove battery for 30 minutes. If i were you I'd first start by using a multimeter and see the condensor surrounding the Processor area. when they are down, that is what happens to your pc.
If condensors make that beeping sound........ it means u have to replace them. then find someone who knows soldering..
good luck

You can download the drivers from Dell WEB site, the
support download page. Make sure you select your model desktop or laptop,
better still, type in the Service Tag number, it is printed on the label on the
bottom of the laptop and on the back or sides of a desktop. (If the Service Tag
label is missing then go into the BIOS setting and on one of the BIOS pages,
the Service Tag number will be displayed). This will open the page where the
specific drivers for your model computer are located. Also make sure you select
the Windows XP or Vista version of the drivers for your Windows operating
system. Click on this link to download the drivers: -
