Sorry, but you can't install a Dell motherboard in another case. Dell has it's own design so if you were able to fit the motherboard inside, you would struggle to get various hardware working.

Dear Sir, I have a

Test your PSU or replace it if your power supply units fan is not working your PSU is faulty

One bad lead can cause a computer to continue on a cycle or to shutdown or fail to detect/ boot up a computer hard drive

Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions,IDE,SATA

the leads from your "((MOTHERBOARD TO YOUR HARD DRIVE))" make sure they have a secure connection and are not faulty or just replace them they could be faulty make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty even the electrical extensions or just replace them they could be faulty a computer needs its connections to continue its cycle and have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error even something as small as a faulty electrical extension or fan lead can cause this problem

follow the troubleshooting procedure a computer needs all of the data and electrical current to travel through every device and to have an end to be able work properly

a motherboard and a hard drive any leads between them will fail before your motherboard or your hard drive if its a flat ribbon 40 pin type IDE replace it this will be the first to fail check all electrical extensions make sure they are securely seated even the cd/dvd floppy drives need to have current go through make sure these drives are working hope this helps also it could be a dirty computer clean all of the dust from your computer you could use a vacuum cleaner but whatever you use make absolutely sure there is no moisture gets to anything in your computer

hope this helps

I reformatted my computer but

You can download the device drivers from Dell WEB site, the support download page. Make sure you select your model desktop or laptop, better still, type in the Service Tag number, it is printed on the label on thebottom of the laptop and on the back or sides of a desktop. (If the Service Taglabel is missing then go into the BIOS setting and on one of the BIOS pages, the Service Tag number will be displayed). This will open the page where thespecific drivers for your model computer are located. Also make sure you selectthe Windows of the drivers for your Windows operating system. Click on thislink to download the drivers: - http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/index.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=gen

How do i remove the

Hi macssword,

I see that you want to remove the VGA adapter on you dell motherboar.

I do not think removing it from the motherboard is a good idea, maybe disabling it will be best rather than removing it, it is bult in on the board and removing it may damage the whole motherboard.

If I may ask are you trying to use an Expansion Video Card on you motherboard?

If so you just need to connect the Video card on the Board then as soon as you turn the machine ON tap on F1 to get into the BIOS of the system.

Once in the BIOS look for the PCI devices option then you should see the option regarding the Video Cards on the motherboard you can enable and disable which video cardyou want to use from there on.

I hope this helps.

Have a nice day

Connecting jumper for start up

That would be connecting a jumper wire, from the Green wire to ANY Black wire, in the 20 or 24-pin ATX main power cable's connector.

If this problem is in direct relation to a Dell E210882 motherboard, it uses a 24-pin ATX main power cable,

http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/desktop/f/3514/p/19298234/19565862.aspx#19565862

Example of a 24-pin power cable, and it's respective connector,

http://www.playtool.com/pages/psuconnectors/connectors.html#atxmain24

The Green wire is the Soft Power On wire. (Abbreviated as PS_ON)
ANY Black wire is Ground wire.

With the 24-pin ATX main power cable plugged into the motherboard, and the power supply,(Computer), plugged into power, the jumper wire is inserted into the back of the 24-pin ATX main power cable's connector.

Looking at the photo to the far right in the link, shows the ATX main power cable plugged in.
Where the wires go into the connector is the BACK of the connector.

One end of the jumper wire, goes down into the socket hole with the Green wire, RIGHT NEXT TO THE WIRE.
The other end goes down into a socket hole with ANY Black wire in it.

The end of every wire going down into the ATX main power cable connector, has a metal terminal end.
This metal terminal end is pretty far down into the connector, from the backside of the connector.
For this reason the jumper wire MUST go down into the socket hole, far enough to touch the metal terminal end.

The most widely used jumper wire is a paper clip.
The paper clip is straightened out, then bent into a U-shape. Black plastic electrical tape is applied to the center of the U shape.
This taped area is for your fingers.

(One wrap of black plastic electrical tape will insulate you from 600 Volts DC)

The 'legs' of the U-shaped paper clip then go down into the socket holes.

The voltage is 5 Volts DC.
Two D cell flashlight batteries produce 3 Volts DC.
The voltage is VERY low, but there may be a small spark.
Warning you in advance.

Power supply comes on?
You have a bad Power On switch.

Power supply does Not come on?
You have a bad Power Supply.

For additional questions, or to clarify anything I have stated, please post in a Comment.

joecoolvette

I want dell e210882 motherboard

Hello,

Dell uses modified Intel motherboards and without knowing the exact motherboard number I can only point you to the driver page at Intel.

Contacting Dell support may be another option as they can probably provide you with the download or website directly.

Need software for this motherboard model dell

If this is in a Dell system you may want to try going through Dell. Dell uses primarily Intel boards with Intel components. You can try letting Intel scan your system and make recommendations here;
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/
Click on the "Run Intel Driver Update Utitlity" for recommendations on Intel components. If this board is in a Dell unit and is stock you can go to Dell for their suggested updates here;
http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/index.aspx?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs
You can either enter model number or, if you have a service tag number, which should be on a label on the case of your tower, you can get updates there and Dell can scan your system also.
