Carseat jammed to easy base 2

Try pressing down very hard on the seat while trying the release. If that does not work, call the manufacturer.Note: if this does release, check the seat belt for damage before using again. Also check that the belt path used to install the base is/was correct.-- Marc

How to remove maxi cosi cabrio harness straps

HiThe harness of a carseat should never be removed or replaced by anyone other than a trained engineer due to the safety implications of it being incorrectly replaced. The carseat fabric should be removed from this carseat and they can be washed - the harness itself should be cleaned in place in the carseat using a solution of stain remover and water and a small scrubbing brush or hard scourering pad to clean the harness. Excess water in the carseat should be dried immediately and thoroughly to prevent any parts rusting. Loose crumbs can be removed using a vacuum cleaner.Alternatively the carseat can be sent in for the engineers to replace with a new one. Inspection and single repair (replacement of the harness) plus safety checks and courier collection and repair can be booked for 39.99GBP if you're in the UK by calling 01284 413 141 Mon-Thur 8.30-6.30 / Fri 8.30-4.30 (Excluding Bank Holidays)

Can u fit a maxi cosi car seat fit onto oyster frame

Hi Maxi-Cosi do not produce adaptors for the carseats to be fitted on other manufacturers chassis. If there are adaptors to fit the Maxi-Cosi carseat to this model chassis they would be manufactured and sold by the manufacturer of the chassis, so you should contact them for assistance.

How do you put the footmuff on the maxi cosi carseat?

Hi,Open the carseat harness and have the carseat in front of you so you\'re looking at the seat. Slide the shoulder harness pads down the length of the harness and off over the harness clips. Unzip the footmuff and place it into the seat and thread the harness through the holes at shoulder and crotch position. Replace the shoulder harness pads onto the harness. You can now place your baby in, do up the harness + tension correctly, then zip up the footmuff to keep baby cosy.If you\'re still using the headhugger/lumbar support wedge this can be used underneath the footmuff.

Cant remember how to refit the sun shade

Hi,The sun canopy has a length of elastic at either end with a turn-over that is stitched in place. These lengths of elastic need to be pushed past a nub of plastic inside the sunshade rim around where the handle of the carseat is joined. Pull them past the nub of plastic and release, and the turn-over will prevent it popping past the nub. Tuck in the sunshade around the rim.

My cabriofix is stuck to the easybase 2. The handle does not seem to work. Do you have any ideas?

Hi,The handle is not any part of removing the CabrioFix from the Easybase 2 apart from to lift the carseat away from the base. You need to press the grey / silver buttons on either side of the carseat and hold them down as you lift the carseat from the base to remove it.If you're still unable to do so we would advise you to take the product to your retailer with proof of purchase for them to investigate further.

Ive pushed button and straps on my maxi cosy cabrio car seat will not loosen, help??

HiWhen you press the silver / grey button at the front of the carseat you should pull both harness straps at the same time and it should loosen the harness. If this is not happening the carseat needs to be inspected. Please contact your retailer with proof of purchase if it is under 12 months old. Alternatively please let us know what country you're in and we can put you in touch with the correct customer care team to assist.
