Hi Instructions on removal of carseat fabric can be found in your User Manual. If you no longer have the User Manual visit www.maxi-cosi.com and select the country you're in, then choose the carseat you have and click the Service tab to download a replacement copy.

HiThis would indicate that the carseat is not correctly installed onto the base or that the base is not correctly installed into the car on the IsoFix points.

HiDue to the safety implications of the carseat harness being incorrectly fitted if the harness has been completely removed from the carseat shell it would need to be sent to engineers for them to re-fit the harness. What country are you in we can direct you to the appropriate customer care team to arrange this.

HiThis is not a realistic movement for the carseat - it wouldn't be tilted like this in an accident so it is not something that can correctly confirm a good fitting.Was the carseat fitted by a trained member of staff prior to purchase and confirmed suitable? Did they demonstrate how to correctly fit it using the seatbelt only?

HiThe Maxi Cosi CabrioFix carseat can be used with the EasyFix or the FamilyFix base (both fitted with IsoFix)In the event that the seat will not click into position on the base it will need inspection / repair work.

Go to the Maxi Cosi website, choose your carseat model and there are Instructions online. It's a bit fiddly but once you've done it once or twice you'll find it easy.

Absolutely NOT. This carseat does require a three-point seat belt to be correctly and safely installed.

If you have a Cabrio Fix carseat, underneath the carseat should be two silver metal bars that slot into the base, if these are not on the carseat then you have the Cabrio model which is not compatible with the base.
