My Danby dehumidier runs but the outlet where the
its freezing because evaporation of the water is causing it to freeze in the narrow tube ,a little tip here is rub this outlet pipe with vasoline as this will stop the water clinging to teh pipe due to the miniscus
Not creating water
Many times on a dehumidifier we hear the fan run...and think all is ok. But the key is if the compressor is running. Listen for the "refrigerator" type sound ....It must first be determined if the compressor is running...and if so is the filter and the coil behind the filter clean
Hook up my 2 sub and my 2 amp
wire the subs at 2 ohm each. red to red and black to black and then to the amp. if thay are a dual 4 ohm sub. dual 2 ohms will need to be wired red to black on one coil and the other conected to the amp.
Settings?
Since the DDR601 is a deshumidifier, there's no temperature settings. It's built for humidity control, not for temperature control.
Danby continuous water flow will
Please try the following:
1) Remove the bucket.
2) You will notice a round outlet/spout where the water drips from into the bucket.
3) Remove the plug from the backside of the unit (you will now see a hole to the bucket area).
4) Feed a hose through the hole from the back and attach the end of the hose to the round outlet/spout.
5) Place the other end of the hose on a floor drain outlet.
6) Put the bucket back into the unit.
When the unit is turned on, the water will now flow through the hose instead (into the floor drain). When you want to use the bucket again to capture the water, you will need to remove the hose.
