pull the hot water hose off at the faucet and machine and check for blockage in the hot water hose,clean or replace the hose sediment screens,then hook back up to water faucet and flush hose with hot water,then check water valve on machine for a screen and clean it as well before reconnecting hot water hose

What is the model number of your unit?

If it is not draining this could be due to two a few reasons. First is probably a fuse that runs the pump. Second could be a switch that makes the drum spin. I would try the fuse first. It should be in the wiring diagram inside the cover of the washing machine. I usually have to buy these fuses at automotive stores. You must take the cover that surrounds the drum of the washer and follow the wiring diagram but the fuse should be on the lower left I believe.

You might need to replace the heater coil or coils....I had to do that on a previous dryer.

Possible that the speed is of the spin is not enough, check the belt , check for friction to the shaft in the washer.finally check the drain valve /pump as if there is water logged on without flushing then the valve is clogged or dirty.

When the felt on the front tub guides wears off it will squeak. It can be replaced by part 1220 and 1221 on this diagram and parts list. Take off the front panel along with the door to access it.

There is a ball and socket bearing at the back of the drum but it doesn't usually go bad. If you need to get to it, go in from the rear of the dryer behind the heat coils. 1212 is the bearing housing.

If this is a brand new unit, make sure that the drain hose is hooked up at a level at or above the level of the tub. If it is too low, it can siphon the tub of water.
