hi Alex, It can be loose connection.please check all plugs and jacks. specially power + wire and fuse etc..... then if the problem is same internal loose connection maybe a problem.you must do the electronic repair for that. regards, nuwan.

wiring is quite simple depending on car make and model. everything should be color coded to match in pairs in most cases except sometimes the power battery and ground may be different in some senerios but usually red=battery yellow-power black=ground. everything else should be in pair colors so u should have 8 wires total for your speakers sets of 2 of same color per 1 speaker.

I had a similar broblem with a stereo i just punched in random codes untill it worked because it wasnt factory but if your dvd player is then you should be able to go to a cadillac dealership

this units have a Flex cable which connect main board to TFT Display, if in this flex cable appears interrupted electrical path, (possible) unit can not start. If u can't remove power plug connector, remove for 2 minutes positive cable from car battery to make a hard reset of unit.

Are you using an amplifier? If so, you are probably using the power antenna remote wire (blue) instead of the amplifier remote wire (blue/white) to turn the amp on. The power antenna wire turns of when you leave tuner mode.

your wires are touching, trying taking it out and checking all the wires to make sure they are apart

have you just put the radio in or was it already in there

from what i found there isn't one , reason being they would be to easy to steal and reprogram

first you have to open the appliances and clean the laser, check for the rubber attached to the motor if it is okay, if slack you can replace for the size that work with it , if otherwise you have a bad drive. The following website sells the drives and does installs:
