Pioneer AVIC-D2, can not change system
Go to the Pioneerelectronics website and the instruction manual is there in pdf format you can view and print. You will have to select in dash navigation system and just click on any one then click on older models.
AVIC-D2 bad navigation?
what i did is, i went into the destination window and pressed the settings tab, then i pressed the hardware information after that i pressed the 3d calibration and then i cleared the section where it said hybrid 3d. after a while it worked fine.

Send the in-dash unit, no wires or antenna, also include a note explaining the problem, add your telephone number. If the unit is out of warranty send a check or money order for $200, that will cover any normal repair, if in warranty send a copy of the sales receipt.

Try pressing the red/white little arrow looking buttons on the bottom right, that' flips the screen.
Avic D2 Won't Complete Initialization
you can open up the unit if you are savey enough and clean the ribbon with an alcohol pad. it worked for me and ever since i did that the door hasnt frooze up on me.
How do i save a radio station in my avic d2?
you lock into the station then where ever you want that station you place and leave your finger on the screen in that number spot for about 4 seconds and it will det and lock in.

In order to watch the AV source in the AVIC-D2 or to have all the NAVI function while driving you must do the following:
1. Ground the original parking wire (Must Do)
2. There will be a open pin in the wiring harness under the ground wire. You must also ground this pin. I just pulled the wire out from the
cellular mute pin and stuck it in the new pin and grounded it.
