I have a mustang 2009 and added a aftermarket

The Mustang use a 6 volt remote turn on so you need to reduce the voltage by adding 2 resistors. Get two 10ohm resistors and tie the top end together and that will be the out put to the car. The other side will have two wires one is the positive remote from the radio and the other goes to ground. It shouldnt pop then.

How do you connect a pioneer d2 navigation system to a 2006 ford expedition entertainment system

You need to identify the four wires that carry the DVD audio in the factory plug, and re-wire them to RCA plugs that can be used with the Auxiliary input RCA jacks on your Pioneer unit. The four wires should be: Left (+) light green Left (-) white Right (+) red Right (-) black The easiest way is to purchase some inexpensive RCA cables (or better yet, speaker wire with RCA ends). Cut the cables and wire the center pin conductor wires to the (+) audio wires in the stock plugs, and connect the outer shield conductors to the (-) wires. Then connect the RCA plugs to your head unit's auxiliary input jacks.

Pink wire whats it for, it on a pioneer avic-d2

The brake sensor wire (Lt Green) can be simulated with a toggle switch to ground.
Pink (CAR SPEED SIGNAL INPUT)
The mobile navigation system is connected here to detect the distance
the vehicle travels. Always connect the vehicle’s speed detection
circuit or the ND-PG1 speed pulse generator, sold separately. Failure
to make this connection will increase errors in the location display.
Orange/white
To lighting switch terminal

Light green
Used to detect the ON/OFF status of the parking brake. This lead
must be connected to the power supply side of the parking brake
switch. If this connection is made incorrectly or omitted, certain
functions of your navigation system will be unusable.

Violet/white
(REVERSEGEAR SIGNAL INPUT)
This is connected so that the navigation system can
detect whether the vehicle is moving forwards or
backwards. Connect the violet/white lead to the
lead whose voltage changes when the shift lever is
put in reverse. Unless connected, the sensor may
not detect your vehicle traveling forward/backward
properly, and thus the position of your vehicle
detected by the sensor may be misaligned from the
actual position.
Note: When you use the ND-PG1 speed pulse
generator (sold separately), please make sure
to connect this lead.
When you use a rear view camera, please make
sure to connect this lead. Otherwise you cannot
switch to rear view camera picture.
