1) adjust the speed sensor, see the diagram attached, test for open or faulty. clean it very well. tight the connector very well2) LUBE the treadmills very important . do it with silicone or wax. Read your onwer manual for verification.God bless you
Info from PDF files located on Sportcrafts website under manuals.E3 - No
speed sensor reading. Unit shuts down. This is the most difficult repair
diagnose. The speedsensor is connected to the frame of the treadmill near
the drive pulley on the front roller. There is asmall magnet on the side of
the pulley wheel. The sensor tip must be no more than 5mm from themagnet. If
for any reason the distance is greater than 5mm the treadmill will
shutdownAdjust or replace speed sensor.Treadmill: Speed Sensor
Replacement1. Make sure your treadmill is unplugged before you begin.2.
Remove the motor cover located in the front of your treadmill, it is held on by
a few screws.3. Locate your speed sensor; it is the small T shaped part with
a red and black wire coming from it.4. Remove the 2 screws in the speed
sensor and remove the old sensor.5. Place the adjustment holder on the frame
with the open holes facing the pulley wheel, the prongs facingup and way
from the pulley wheel. Insert the screws but don't tighten fully.6. Now
place the speed sensor over the prongs with the square part facing the pulley
wheel and the red andblack wire to the far right.7. Plug the treadmill
back in and slide the speed sensor until it is 5mm from the magnet inside the
pulleywheel, you may have to do this several times until you can position it
so it no longer shuts down. Use 2nickels to figure out the spacing. The
width of 2 nickels is 5mm.8. Once you find the correct position tighten the
screws all the way; being careful not to touch any of the other
electronics9. Place the motor cover back on and enjoy your
machine.
Also:Use an epoxy to glue it. It is a plastic that is difficult to adhere to.
please see the video and proceed according. God bless you
Step 2:
if the problem persist:use the table lamp connect in the circuit of the treadmill, if the lamp does not go on, the problem is the outlet wall home. Reset the c. breaker and test again.Open the outlet and tight the white+black+green wires. REPAIR IF THERE are something faulty. Use the Voltmeter. TEST AGAIN.
Step 3:
if the problem persist see the block diagram attached.a) test the main motor see my personal TIPS for motor help.b) test the main board for faulty.
see your troubleshooting section in your instr. manual and enter the keys for clear the error. However you must test:a) test the input voltage motor, if there are the motor need repair.b) test the output voltage board, for input voltage motor, if there are NOT the board is faulty., see the block diagram+ w.diagram
1) LUBE the deck belt, this produce enough friction, by lack of LUBE2) Lube the roller bearing, very well3) Test the input voltage motor, if there are the motor need repair.4) Test the output voltage board, for input voltage motor, if there are NOT the board is faulty.See the block diagram.
