All these things point to the bios. You need to go to the Asus site for that motherboard and download an upgraded bios. There will be directions there on how to update your bios, probably both from Windows and from the system prompt.

Clean the cooler on the top of the cpu.
If this not works...new cooling or change the thermal grease.
Get some cooler in the case to get a better airflow.

Sounds like your BIOS is corrupt. In general, the only recourse is to replace the CMOS IC outright. You
could remove the IC and reprogram it in a EEPROM programmer. Or you could swap it out with a
similar motherboard. Or you could contact Asus and order a replacement.

This is because the sound driver achitecture does not fit with operating system of windows 7. Search for the a sound driver that will be compatible with windows 7, that will be found in the website of the motherboard brand.

This worked for me. You need the sound drivers for the "Intel C-Media High Definition Audio CMi9880".

I went to this sight www.softwarepatch.pl/plikd.php

Its in a different language but click on the box.
i downloaded the audio file called UDAX008(Logo56.62).zip.

Click on the box, and downloaded the zip file.
Unzipped it.
Then change the compatibility mode of the Setup.exe file to Winxp Sp3 by going to the properties of the Setup.exe file and click on the Compatibility tab. Check the box for "Run this program in compatibility mode for". And change it to Windows XP Service pack 3.

The drivers are actually meant for windows xp but they are working fine for me and im very happy now. I was worried like you. I hope it works for you.

Any PCI-express x16 board will work. It all depends on your power supply & budget as to what card you want. Check the AMD/ATI website for a list & specs of their cards. Nvidea also makes great cards. You can research for other manufactures based on the ati or nvidea chipsets. Hope this helps & please remember to rate my answer. Thanks.

Hi.
I could tell you exactly what Graphics Adapter to buy, but
i think is better if you learn how to decide by yourself, so i recoommend you to use the following url, that will take you to your motherboard Specs( you should always visit the manufacturers websites, because nobody can help you better than them).
Often you can get updated drivers for your devices from them.
If the link doesn't work, you can copy and paste the following address:
http://www.asus.com/products.aspx?modelmenu=2&model=404&l1=3&l2=11&l3=144&l4=0

In the Expansion Slots( the ones you use for graphics adapters) the performance decreases from top to bbottom.

I hope that help you
