make sure that the dvd burner is getting enough power test all leads that are attached to the dvd burner including electical extensions and make sure they have a secure connection or just replace them there might be bad/faulty or the drivers may have been corrupted or you might have a virus run your antivrus program you might have to physically unplug the leads for this cd/dvd burner then plug them back in this should activate the found new hardware wizard or you might have to uninstall then reinstall your DVD/CD or uninstall the driver then reinstall for this device Click start control panel administrive tools,computer management,device manager scroll down cd-dvd rom drives you might see a yellow question mark ? right click you will have options to update driver,roll back driver,or select properties general troubleshoot, select driver click to reinstall drivers click update driver or uninstall then reinstall if this does not fix the problem it might be a registry problem if you cant see your disk drive in windows explorer Close all open programs

It could be a firmware problem, you can update your firmware but be sure to update to the latest official, stable version. If you have problems only with this type of media and all others are OK, I would recommend you to use different media.

You could try and uninstall the drive in device manager, then let the pc reinstall the drive.
Try some other software, i use IMGBURN and CDBurnerXP.
Get back if this does not fix your problem

DVD burners will only write to the maximum stated.

Also if you are using 4x DVDs then that is all they will burn at without often giving errors when used.

Trying to burn a 4x DVD at lets say 16x can cause burn failure or data corruption.

Cd's on the other hand can burn at lower speeds than they are stated.

To burn DVDs at higher speeds your burner needs to be capable of that speed

WINDOWS CANNOT LOAD THE DEVICE(DVD ROM) FOR THIS HARDWARE MAY BE CORRUPTED OU MISSING (CODE39)

Could be a bad drive, as DVD lasers are a little different than just CD lasers. The laser may be bad for one, but the other can work. I had this issue, had to buy a new drive.

I hate being so simple on these questions, but these problems are always a process of elimination. First thing you always do in situations like this - try another brand of disc. Good luck!

To reinstall the driver RIGHT Click on My Computer - select Properties - select Device Manager - RIGHT Click the DVD listing - select Update Driver (have your disk handy).

could you provide more info? the model number of the drive for exmaple. are you sure your using rewriteable DVD's? sorry to point out the obvious but id kick myself if i didnt check. Also you can goto the manufactuers website and if there is a firmware upgrade for your model of DVD writer.

DVI video cables don't carry audio. Thus you need to use an audio extractor or converter instead of just an HDMI to DVI adapter cable. Then connect the HDMI to DVI cable to the HDMI out of the converter. Then the audio out to one of the audio connections on the LCD4610-BK. Note: this converter requires you to get the extra HDMI and audio cables separately. Depending on your ROKU device, you might need an HDMI (F to M) adapter to ensure that you aren't blocking other things on the front of the converter.
