My new sony experia arc s wont turn on
If it is NOT TURNING ON,.. PLEASE try:
1.Go to PC companion -> Sony Update Service and select phone update without connecting your phone.
2. Select your device and download the update (DONOT CONNECT PHONE)
3. When the download completes it will prompt for connecting you phone.
4. Before that phone must be switched OFF (donot turn on).
JUST PRESS DOWN THE VOLUME DOWN KEY AND CONNECT THE USB CABLE.
5. The Phone's LED will glow green and the update for phone will start.
6. After the update completes you will get the phone as an fresh new Operating System.
(WARNING - YOU WILL LOOSE ALL YOUR DATAS AND GET A FRESH START)
I trun off the mobile then i turn on it, the screen was SONY after that becomes XPERIA and still . help :(
Can you try to perform a software/firmwware repair using PC Companion to see if ot helps.
Connect your phone to the PC via the USB cable
The repair option on PC Companion (Support Zone --> Update --> Repair).

How could I tell if a tracker or something similar been put on my phone
you need to use the usb and connect the phone to the software you need to download once you download the phones software and install it and the phone comunicates with with it aok then you need to update the phones firmware this is your issue your phones firmware {the thing that makes it work in the firstplace before you added your software} is out of date many of my pals have issues so i installed most companies front end software and update there phones when they also need them charged up which is all the xxx time so you need to use a pc to fix your phone i would backup your contacts list etc using the pc software before updating the phones firmwareif your not sure take the phone to a local phone shop and ask the staff to update the firmware for youwont cost much just some time 2 hrs or so
The mobile stop at sony logo and restart again i can`t open it
power off.pulling battery or any way.
press PDA button VOL+and power button together.
or try VOL+and power together hold the keys untill you feel vibration and let the brand name comes up and let all buttons free.
the it will boot recovery mode.then select factory data reset by pressing VOL+ and _
select by the power button.
after that it reboot phone.
Why my Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S is over heating and is draining the battery
my arc s had the same problem when using the internet for long periods. its never caused any problems but if its running really slowcheck which apps you have running and shut down the ones which arent important, and update your operating system to the patest version. my battery used to last round 8 hrs now well over a day. i make sure i only run the apps im using, keep my display brifhtness low and only connect to the internet when using it, this should improve your battery life no end. it will still get hot if your using it for long periods, its no danger but you can place a playing card inside against the battery which will help reduce the heat you actually feel. hope this helps much love CHRISPY
