go to controle pannel > admins tools > disk managmen >> device managment, right click ur flash drive and choose format.
or u can downlaod "hp drive key"

Make sure that disk protect is not on. Also make sure the drive is not showing that its locked.

Sounds like a faulty flash drive... try the same function on another computer.

Just connect he pendrive to USB post and right click on the pen drive on My Computer.
Click on the format option and press ok.
It will format your pen drive.

The picture shows that you are using a memory card (such as SD). If that is the case, look for the lock/unlock switch located on the card. This will allow or prevent you from writing to it.

try it in the rear OR another usb port, sometimes the drivers are not installed in the front ports.

As you've already tried it on several systems your friend has probably blown it for you. You can't disconnect peripherals like this while there's a data transfer going on.

I'd be tempted to ask him to replace it for you.

reinstall driver

install the driver fr removale hard drive

if it used to take (eg : H drive ) than type h:\ in ur url of my computer. it works

If yes try to this,
uncheck "Disable writing of any usb devices".
Dont use this software? any one (maybe your friends use this software and disable write protection in your pendrive ) contact your friends.

OR

download USB anti virus program from google search, and try to uncheck disable writing option.

Try getting a new driver for this USB

Try a different software to format the pendrive. I uploaded a 3rd party software that will help you format the pendrive.
Connect the pendrive to the computer and after that run the software and format it.
