I just gave my 1 GB Transcend Pendrive to my friend for load somthing.He gave back that after a while load ing in his system.But when I want to start this it is not working.Before I gave to my friend it works.
ic, maybe the usb port of your friend's pc is defective which may cause your pen drive to malfunction, probably a shorted usb port. or just maybe your pendrive was dropped by your friend which damage the drive, it happened to me too before.

The Pen drive is detected in PC but no data is shown. Not able to open the files in the folders as it is shown that data used is 0 bytes and available is 0 bytes.
Please solve
The pen driver is ifected with virus.Just format it with CMD and ur problem will be solved

My pen drive does not open.When i click the link,i get please insert disk as a message and unable to open the contents.However the light on the pen drive is on and also i am able to stop it and remove safely
have a 2gb transcend pen drive.till now it was working properly but now wen i try it says insert an drive into I.the light is glowing and it is getting detected.But i am not able to read the data.anyone can please help me.

sir i was used my pen drive from winxp to another os version. afterwards it gives me an error that disk is write protected. i tried to remove or format but again it gives me prob that it is write protected and not able to format. i used different solutions but unable to format or remove write protected. please help me. how can i remove this write protection.

when deliting data it ask to remove the write protection
while formating the disk it shows write protected.

Try this,
1.
Check out if the USB drive has a small swich for write protection. If its there try toggling the switch.
2.
Windows can all write protect flash drives. Check out this registry path,
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\StorageDevicePolicies.
You may find a key here on the right side by the name 'WriteProtect'. If it's not there this would not be the cause of problem. If it's there, make sure that the value is 0.
Please let me know if this does'nt work.

Please help me. My new Transcend 8 GB pendrive is showing message ' Disk Write Protected' after it is 1.88 GB full. It does not show any such message when it is not full upto 1.88 GB.How m i to use the rest of the memory storage of the pendrive?? n also How a pendrive write protection can be removed???

Other pen drive users may visit there vendors site and download any fromat utility present there for your model.

even if i ried to format from cmd it is saying the file is raw
a similar problem and didn't know wht to do . But transcend has a very easy solution to this problem which many of us dont know. go to transcend website and download Jet Flash Recovery Tool and format ur pendrive...... :)

Any time I insert the pen drive in to my pc it tells me its write protected and it cant format
Click > Start > RUN > type "CMD" Then
Type "CHKDSK" and type o your Pendrive and "/F". Ex. chkdsk Q: /F > Enter
Ok, You see many msg error. OK!
Now, you remove your pendrive and plug again.
Try to format.
It works well.
