Please check the impedance of those subs. Are they 4 or 8 ohm speakers? Do they have dual voice coils? this app may not be capable of handling dual voice coil four ohms and you're trying to bring it down to a 2 ohm mono.

That sounds like your 12V wire is too light and please also run a ground wire directly next to the 12V wire.

your friends ground may have been better, make sure yours is touching bare metal and check the remote wire

Hello! I need to ask a few questions...Were the new subs working before you boxed them? Are the speakers bridged or is the unit being used as a stereo amp? Are you using a power amp in the system or just the KAC?

if it is blowing fuses you probably have a blown transistor or shorted component inside the amp. a transistor can look just fine and still be bad.

depending on condition of the amp for excellent condition it would be around 90 to 125 in good condition you looking at about 60 to 90 in poor condition you are looking at 30 to 60 and in bad condition under 30 .

if power light is on and no sound check audio jacks on amp and to speakers

make sure you have seperate power and gound seperate remote wires and if it does have a pass through then use it but i would hook up one at a time make sure they both work if after all this and it dont then your deck may not have enough power coming out of it to power the rca's or use y adapters from the cd player and run 2 sets of rca's.

ADD FUSE WITH RESISTOR

Check to see if your deck has a sub on/off option in the menu or settings if it don't you may have blown amp chanells or bad RCA preouts on deck or bad RCA in on amp

This is usually caused by heat, but it could also be caused by not having enough power to the amp or a bad ground. Check these first and let me know if you need any further help.
