My True 23F has had
http://www.truemfg.com/pdf/InstallManuals/T-SERIES/t_series_english.pdf
this should take you to their site for a manual on your freezer. I has info on the time clock and how to set it.
First, be sure it has the correct power to the unit. I would then check the temperature control. Be sure it is sending power to the compressor unit. If a contactor is used, is the coil on the contactor getting the correct power? Start there and let me know if we need to go further. Good Luck
We bought the Commercial Freezer T-23F last month
Is it factory new, never been used? Or are you saying you bought a used one and they replaced it with a "new" used one? I am familiar with True Manufacturing and if it is a new unit you have a one year parts and labor warranty. The dealer you bought it from is the responsible party to fix your problem.
Evaporator fan and light are
I would advise to test the evap fan motor first. This can easily be done by simply jumping the motor terminals. If the motor runs when jumped, this will isolate the delay/def sw as the lone culprit. Now, if the motor dose not run when jumped, simply replace the fan motor.
I suspect the sw, but to be sure, test the motor first.
- NOTE_You can also test the fan motor for continuity by using a multimeter. To achieve this, Set the multimeter to the ohms setting X1. Place a probe on each terminal on the motor. The multimeter should display a reading of zero ohms. If the fan motor does not pass this test, it should be replaced.
My freezer will freeze for about 2weeks then it
It sounds to me like the defrost isn't working somewhere. It freezes for 2 weeks until the evaporator coil freezes over and you lose your airflow, hence, your cooling. Then when you shut the unit off for 6 hours it thaws out enough to get you cooling again for 2 weeks.Check your defrost timer and see if it is going into defrost and if your defrost elements are good. Both will be located on top of the unit. Good luck!
Freezeing up, not cooling
Without knowing if it a freezer or a cooler I will have to guess. Could be caused by a few things. I'll list them in order of the one I think is the most common reason.
Cooler
- Door gaskets or someone left door open for a time.
- Thermostat set to low.
- Low freon
- expantion valve out of adjustment or needs replaced
Freezer
- Defrost not working (Will have heaters with a timer)
- Low on freon or expantion valve
Fan is not working
I would unplug your unit so that you can replace the fan. It sounds like the bearings have gone out on your fan. This is somthing that you can do yourself. If you do not feel comfortable, you can pay a technician about $200 to do this for you. If you decide to do it yourself, remove the fan and bring it to your local supplier. He can sell you a replacement.
Freezer Not Freezing
check compressor is turned on. if compressor is going, you either have a system or compressor fault and this is not diy
if compressor not going, possibly a thermostat fault. in this case put on fast freeze to confirm
No door heat
The Mulluen heaters will be Built into the frame not in the door.
