My ac is directly under
The "E1" code indicates a compressor sensor failure. Did the dripping water from above cause the problem? Possibly , but there's no way to prove it. If you'd like to order the part and replace it yourself, call 800-313-8495. Have your Model Number & Serial Number handy when you call. If the unit is still under warranty and you have your dated Proof of Purchase call 1-877-337-3639.
Hope this helped you and tanks for choosing FixYa.
The front of the unit behind the filter freezes
the reason for the coil (behind the filter) to freeze up is 'low air flow' over the coil, which is usually caused by a dirty filter AND/OR the coil itself.
Be sure the coil is clean and not clogged up. Shine a flashlight into the fins and be sure it's clean.
If it is clean then you need to look at the fan motor. Is it blowing correctly? Is it cutting off at times?
Low air flow across the coil is the main problem with coils freezing up, although less likely is a 'low refrigerant charge.'
I would make sure the coil was clean and the motor was blowing air across it in the proper manner.
I HAVE STYROFOAM INSIDE THE
Is it packing or is it insulation? If packing, as in you just bought this unit and have never used it, remove it.
Hello, I have a Haier
Its not that simple You need to vacume the system down before you can chagre it again. You will need a tech to do that for you . sorry but thats the way its done
The AC is on. Set
You can try unpluging it to reset it .. this is a tough one as i not to certain.. But try that wait for about a munite nbefore you plug it back in.

Hi, my a/c is less
The refigerant is still moving thru the system normal. It can take several minutes to equalize the pressures.
The top and bottom coils ice up and there is no
Hello, the coil will freeze either due to low airflow or a low refrigerant charge. Many times a dirty air filter or dirty evaporator coil will cause ice to form and cleaning both will fix the problem, however if the unit appears clean then a low refrigerant charge is the problem and the unit will need to be recharged.
Error code E1. Please tell me what E1 refers to.
Unfortunately. Haier does not have an online manual for your model AC. However, if you contact their Customer Support Dept 1-877-337-363, they can tell you what the code means and supply you with an Owner's Manual for future reference.
Hope this helped you.
When I turn the air
Hello, you would need to take the top cover off the AC and check the fan, usually the hub of the fan breaks and becomes loose or sometimes just the clamp comes loose and the fan hits the housing. If the fan is cracked then you would need to replace just the fan on the unit. Here is a link or parts to your ac http://www.partstore.com/Model/HAIER+AMERICA+TRADING/Haier/ESA3109.aspx.
My power went out after
E1
might be a stuck key on the keypad... they are sometimes flakey ..
maybe water getting into the keypad ... at any rate the remote control
usually still works .. eventually sometimes the key pad starts to work
again (maybe when it dries out)
So, based on solutions from those other sites, I pulled off
the front panel, turned it over and removed the 4 screws from the back
of the control pad (not the six screws on the outer perimeter). I
looked for a stuck button but did not find one. I just pushed all the
buttons a few times in case one was stuck (as suggested on other sites)
and that did it!
Hope helps.
DOESN'T SEEM TO BE COOLING
start by checking the air filter and clean if dirty, also I would recommnd spraying a coil cleaner on the evaporator coil and clean it. If the unit appears clean then most likely the unit has a leak and will need to be recharged with refrigerant.
Haier mini split E7 and exterior fan not working
On a Haier Split system a E7 error is a failure of the outdoor inverter PCB and the outdoor power supply PCB. Both will need replacing. Looking around $600 for those parts. Plus fitting. The indoor PCB is very unlikely to be needed.
