WHERE CAN I GET NEW CIRCUT BOAARDS FOR MY TV WHEN

The first place I check is Encompass Parts (used to be known as VanceBaldwin). They mountains of information and parts for just about any make and model along with keeping their inventory pretty well stocked. http://www.encompassparts.com/pages/Consumer_Electronics_Parts_and_Accessories.asp

Hermans Electronics is also pretty good but do not have as big of a selection.

You could also get them directly from Hitachi.

Television will not power on

How did you check the fuse? Just because the filament looks good does not mean the fuse is good. Even then though, it most likely is not the fuse.

I don't have your television's make or model number nor age so this is all conjecture here but....when you take the back panel off, look at where the power cord is coming in to the board. Is there a small transformer there? On an older tv there will be a transformer there that conditions the power for the tv. If your tv is a newer one, there may be a power supply there by the fuse which could be intermittent and probably needs to be replaced.

Please, get back to me here with the make/model and age of your tv so I can help you troubleshoot effectively.

How do you replace the lamp in a 53sbx59b?

Replacing the projection tv lamp is a pretty simple procedure provided you can locate it.:) It is as simple as pop the old one out and the new one in. However you should make sure that the tv is turned off for a while before you touch the lamp or "it may be hot enough to burn your skin". Secondly do not touch the lamp receptacle. I have seen people break the receptacle while removing the lamp. Last but not least if you are not able to remove the lamp dont pull hard, look for some kind tab or lock that is holding the lamp in place. You will need to press the tab to release the lamp. While sliding the lamp in you should hear a "click" sound which means that the lamp is "locked" in position.
Also do not touch anything else. The tv set can hold tremendous amount of voltages(upto 15000V in some sets). Therefore you should proceed with extreme caution. If you doubt that you cannot do it yourself please dont do it and take the assistance of a qualified technician. As my mentor always says "Your life and limb is worth much more than this" .

Feel free to postback if you need more help.

Tv turns on , has sound but no picture

It may not be the "bulb" that you're looking for,and that's usually referred to as a lamp if im not mistaken, but i would take it to a servicer and have them meter the horizontal output ic. if it's shorted, that explains your video problem. There may as well be an underlying problem that caused the IC to fry so have it inspected to make sure.

My mirror is broke in my big screen do you have to

The mirrors are specific to the unit as they have slight curves to bend the picture correctly so it aligns to the screen properly. To ensure you get the correct picture for your unit, you would have to order the manufactures original replacement part. You can order an new OEM replacement mirror for this model (53SBX59B) from a major Hitachi parts distributor at the link below:

Hazy yellow spot in the left lower corner of the screen

It could be a cob web inside the tv or something laying on one of the guns, like a dead bug. If it's a cob web, you should be able to move the tv a little side to side and see it change from the moving air current. I would remove the back and vacuum off the lenses of the guns and look for cob webs. It's safe to touch and clean the lenses, just don't touch any electronics. If this doesn't fix it, it's probably fluid starting to cloud up in the guns or IC chip problems.

Here is a quick test....

Using your original remote go-to the tv settings then goto the convergence section.

Try to adjust the red and then the blue convergence.

You should be able to move them up, down, left, and right.

If you can't move them in all directions your convergence chips are bad and should be replaced. This is a common problem.

You need to replace the convergence chips and convergence resistors. Check the site www.TvRepairKits.com. They have put together a kits for most models. If you don't see a kit for your set send them a quick note and they will put one together for you. Their kits include a photo instruction guide, original OEM Sanyo STK chips, convergence resistors, pico fuses, etc.

HITACHI 53SBX59B, projection lights don't line up.

It sounds like bad solder connections in the convergence output circuit. It may also be an intermittant convergence output ic which will need to be replaced.
