This set not designed or able to accept a computer and if it did work resolution of the screen would be un-useable.

experts are free to choose to or not to answer any question..the issue is very vague so limits some answer, is the line colored, present when a DVD etc connected via rear inputs, or 3 d like in some way?

Separation from the speakers (what I assume you're asking) is generally not possible on televisions such as this one. The projection lenses are actually in that area.

Projection TV sets are known to have two common problems. The first problem that is common to these sets is convergence failure. When this happens the TV will usually look 3D, Wavy/Distorted, etc. It may also shutdown and blink an error code.

The second common problem with Projection TV sets is dull video, halos around objects, white looking video, or red overpowers the screen. This is commonly caused by the fluid in the lens being clouded overs.

Yes it can, but it has at least two screens and most Hitachi sets only sell them as a pair----Call Andrews Electronics in California--they have an 800 number---Give them model number and they will give you price and availability for the screen unit.

The only option I have used is search EBAY etc or I use CRAIGSLIST to look for an identical model that has the screen but the set does not work.

I did this for a customer with a 65 inch Mitsubishi---screens were about 400 but we found an identical set and picked it up for 50.

Sounds like the 3 color guns need new bulbs.They can be bought and replaced.

Tries the tv website it self,or these websites Amazon.com,Ebay.com,or Partstore.com.

Tries unplug &replug see get it back or must replace the video board might burn parts.

there are just a series of screws to remove the the back and the whole thing opens up. Not sure what to have you used to clean the bulbs off probably just a clean soft electronics cloth. No alchol or windex.

Hi, I`m afraid it`s not good news, you have a bad green picture tube, video-tek

If it is a convergence problem it would probably run around 250
unless somebody was trying to rip you off
I would get it and install the convergence kit
