the X2 button cannot be removed when it is pressed, it will certainly remain on the screen of your TV because that's how it was made.

But you can try this, look for OSD (on screen display) on your remote, if you find it, press it severally, and if doesn't remove it, then there is nothing you can do.

Good luck.

I don't know if this will work but I can atleast try to help

1) Open the disc tray.
2) While the tray is open, enter the following code with the remote's numeric pad: 2812
3) To change the region code, press the "Enter" button repeatedly. "Region 9" means all regions will be enabled.
4) Close the tray to save the desired setting.

Other Zoran Vaddis 776 based players have other options on this screen (such as Macrovision Enable/Disable) but this player only offers the region code setting (note the unused available space for other menu options).

If you press "Display" on the remote, the firmware version will be displayed.

1. Press "Eject"
2. Press "Setup"
3. Press 3x on the right "Präferenzen-Setup"
4. Press 7x Down "Land"
5. Press 1, 3, 7, 9
6. And 0 for code free
7. Press "Play"

This can only be done on some dvd players unfortunatly. They are locked to regions because of the video format types that vary from country to country.

  • Download the firmware update from:
  • Extract the file to your hard drive and burn the 11121213.BIN to the root directory of a CD. Use Standard ISO9660 Format and finalize the CD. Don't use Joliet, multi-session or XA Format!
  • The CD title must be P80J0001. Don't copy both firmware versions on one CD. You have to use separate CDs.
  • Insert the ready CD into the DVD-Player and press Play when prompted.
  • When the CD drive opens take out the CD and wait about 1-2 minutes.
  • The DVD player will be reset automatically

Hello Ernest, I'm going to think that you have a Vizio Smart TV; (only happens when using SmartCast?) In this case it is a variant to perform a Factory Reset, it is very likely that it will be restored to normality.
Anyway, you should check the Moden or Router (if you have it) connection does not seem to be the application, but as if it were connectivity problems because in Vizio SmartCast mode is included in the included applications.
I leave a link to follow the procedure to factory reset.

There is something short inside the circuit board, may be a shorted transistor or so. Your TV need a through check up. Contact any service technician. Products powered by electricity should be serviced or repaired only by experienced professional technicians. Any attempt to service or repair the product by anyone else could result in serious injury or death. If you are not familiar with electronics, do not attempt to repair. Whether you suffer fatal electrical shock. Instead, contact the nearest service centre.

Hello John, compact disc recordable, can't be erased once the data is recorded on it. Only the CD-RW (Compact Disc-ReWritable) and DVD-RW that are rewritable have this option; also be aware that CD-RWs may not be compatible with all CD and DVD players. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CD-RW
