Hi it sounds like you have condensation in the dvd unit.

Take the dvd out if you can,if not don`t worry.
Go to a warm room, plug dvd in to the mains and leave for 2-3 hours .Then try again...fingers crossed!

That should work OK. If you’re not any good with computers, maybe you know somebody who is? Apart from that, to take it out, you just open the case, disconnect a ribbon cable, a power cable (plugs for both just pull out) and 4 screws, then out it comes.

Alternatively, you could get a very big hammer and smash it to pieces, which is what I feel like doing with mine...

check with a local repair shop .

It could be the T-Con board or the main board. There is no way to know unless you replace the parts one at a time to determine which one is failing.

If you have zoom button the you will be able to fit it on the screen. If not you will only get that resolution which is present on the video which you copied to usb. also check the screen format setting of the tv. You will able to see it on the menu option.

as you did not provided the manufacturer (brand), model or version - we do not know if your tv is capable of direct play of .avi files, you need to go to the manufacturers site and check what supported formats are.
