Cannot play my ipod through my technics amp

You would need a mini jack to stereo rca wire. Insert the mini jack to your Ipod's headphones, then plug the stereo rca to your amp inputs. If it's a receiver, plug into any of the inputs (aux, tape etc) except "phono or turntable", then switch to respected input on the receiver. Be sure all volumes on both units are down during this process, then gradually turn up both volume to normal level.

Hi. I have a Technics SA-EX500 Receiver, which

hi, yes the digital screen is replaceable, but youd have to completely take it apart, and youd have to find a broken one on ebay to scavage for the part. do you have the remote? do you leave it in the same mode mostly? id experiment with the modes, and then keep the remote out the kids hands and maybe put something over the buttons on the receiver to keep the settings from getting changed. you might even just go with the presets like dolby surround or movie mode. right now on ebay, there is 1 and its not broken, so keep an eye on that. the other option would be to buy the working one on ebay and use this one as a sub amp or auxillery for sending music to the rest of the house, lots you could do with it!
good luck!!!
