I turn the tv. on , the green light comes on then

When you turn it on and it shuts off---ON THE FRONT OF THE SET PRESS AND HOLD BOTH THE MENU AND INPUT(DEVICE) BUTTONS TOGETHER FOR AT LEAST 5 SECONDS AND RELEASE BOTH BUTTONS.

Power light should blink a two digit error code---for example: 2 blinks, a pause and 2 blinks--This is the most common error code.

Let me know what error code you get and I will tell you what it means and if 2-2 what the problem is.

There is no separate power supply in your TV.
It is integrated into Deflection Board.
I would recommend you have real professional diagnose your TV, power supply section is rarely goes bad, it could be convergence or some other issue.

Your convergence circuit has failed. The amps need to be replaced but most likely the resistors have also been weakened or have opened up. The other issue with doing this repair is getting the correct parts. You can go online and order them but in most cases you will end up with generics. Generics in the electronic industry are not like in the pharmaceutical field. Stay away from generic IC's and other generic electronic parts. Even if they fix the problem they will cause issues with resetting the computer parameters or they will fail premature. If you know an honest technician let them do the repair. If you put all the parts back in a can't get it aligned you will need someone to go into the computer anyway. Just make sure the tech is using original Sanyo amps and not generics. An easy way to tell is the originals don't have any numbers stamped on the back(heat sink area)of the IC.

My ws-65807 wont turn on

Unplug set and plug back in and try again, confirm 2,1.

2,1 is XRAY protection, it means something is causing the high voltage the set develops to go too high--creates xray radiation from the tubes.

Let me know what you find. Unplugging will clear the buffer and allow you to confirm if it is 2,1.

If you need advice, I know these sets.

The next time it happens go into the customer menu and select CONVERGENCE--select advanced--instructions will be on the screen--what you are looking for is are the colors skewed--red or blue out of place?

If this is what you find, you have a convergence circuit problem that is not uncommon on this set.

If this is the case I have start to finish step by step instructions for this repair in this model--most do it yourself people can do this.

I will attach a few photos here of typical convergence problem--no two look exactly the same but you will know if it is your problem.

If this information has helped you rate this solution as I do this here for free. If you decide you want the instructions let me know and I will post them here for you to study.

Power goes off after less

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Error code 2-2 means short protect which is either caused by bad convergence ICs and/or 2 Pico fuses (F9A05 and F9A04). You'll need to open the back of the unit and replace the parts that have gone bad to resolve this issue.
Please accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks

For past 6 Months The scren was bowing

Projection TV sets need to have all three colors - RED - BLUE - GREEN - lined up correctly on the screen in order for the video to look normal. When its out of alignment the video will look 3D, wavy, distorted, etc. Most of the time you just need to adjust your convergence in the TV menu. If you cannot adjust it in the menu - then your convergence is broken and needs to be repaired.
This is a very common failure on these projection sets and a fairly simple DIY fix. All projection sets including Samsung, RCA, Sony, Philip Magnavox, Panasonic, Pioneer, Akai, GE, JVC, Toshiba, and others at some point will have the same problem.
You can get a repair kit with parts and instructions from www.TvRepairKits.com
