Mitsubishi WS-65807 65" Rear Projection Television - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
We have a Mitsubishi Tv
Those blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices.

If blinks continue without any pause, the main board is faulty.
Search the site by type in the "brand name" to your device, [Exclude the model number] in the "Search box at the top right of the display window of the Homepage" to get gathered related posts.

Mitsubishi 65 inch rear projector
Short answer: No.
The board and install will cost you more than an LCD/LED flat screen TV.
Sorry for the bad news, but you will save space and electricity with the new TV.
Next problem: Trashing the projection TV.

The picture screen is green and red.
It sounds like one of the three color guns has failed and based on the fact that you have red and green that would leave the blue gun as the culprit.

My 65inch Mitsubishi tv started humming and
follow this steps and fix it. God bless you
- Reset component settings.
Usually, the problems you encounter with a projection TV may be resolved
through the resetting to its factory settings. If you experience
inaccuracies in the color, reset the television's PerfectTint/PerfectColor
capabilities. Simply press the Menu tab and then highlight "Perfect Color"
using your right key arrow. After this, press "Enter" and then "Reset" in
order to reset to factory settings. If you have audio / video problems
(VCR or DVD player), simply press "Menu" and highlight the "Reset"
option.
Reset television controls. In case you cannot fix your TV via its
component settings, there are other ways of resetting. Just select "Menu", key
in "1, 2, 3", and then press "Enter." In doing this, the TV's manufacturer's
specifications will all be restored. If your TV's power system does not
function, you should perform a complete system reset. You can do this by
clicking on Reset System button located at the TV's control panel. Your
television will be turned off and then a green light (LED) will quickly flash
for approximately one minute. Once the light has stopped flashing, your TV
should immediately turn on.

Turns itself off and then won't stay on
Do the self check. If you unplugged the set, plug it back, turn it on and allow to fail.Press both the Menu and Input (input may be labeled device) buttons on the front of the set and Hold both for at least 5 seconds and release both.Power light will begin to blink a two digit error code like 2 blinks, 2 blinks, pause and repeat it for a total of 5 times.Let me know what error you find and I tell you the meaning and a possible answer.

Add hdmi port to mitsubishi ws-65807
I doubt it as it was never designed for that kind of input, Component works best on this set and it should have only one HD input for a box marked in the menu as DTV.

GREEN CRT OUT OF FOCUS
The individual lens have a lug nut that when loosened allows the lens to be turned-----cover red and blue lens and call up the convergence grid---from the rear adjust that lens until the green lines are in good focus(can also do the red in and the blue if needed)You will get no more advantage as the manual focus controls on the splitter block have very limited range.when done carefully tighten the wing nuts on the lens back tight.

Audio but only black screen for video on WS65807
First, the set has a hard reset but it will NOT affect convergence which is stored in a separate area of the set.Model indicated has 3 hidden menus---all accessed with the Original remote and a 4 digit code.At your own risk: This is a V17 chassis that was used in 8 models. It has 3 hidden tech menus: With set on:Option menu is 8270 enter---The Option menu reset will return all settings to factory and also will clear any glitches out of the way--it as stated can cause Convergence not to be affected.Circuit adjust menu: (stay out as one wrong move and fatal things can happen is : 8257 enter.Convergence adjust menu: (better than customer and SAVES adjustments made in to the DCU or digital convergence unit in the set.I STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU TRY THE OPTION MENU FIRST, IF NEED DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS I CAN LOCATE THEM FOR STEP BY STEP OF THAT.SEE IF IT CLEARS THE MAIN ISSUES UP FIRST---IF YOU TRIED TO ADJUST CONVERGENCE IT MAY NOW BE MESSED UP BUT UNLESS YOU GET THE SET BACK TO WORKING SOMEWHAT NORMAL NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT.keep in mind I do this here for free and have worked on hundreds of these Mitsubishi sets.SD TECH------ASK BEFORE YOU LEAP!

What do i do if my tv says code 21
somethings wrong with the high voltage circuits and its not allowing the tv to work -to protect you from xrays! I would send it to a professional repair man or splash out and buy an LED or plasma screen. Don't fiddle with it yourself as the voltages concerned are very dangerous

Powers on & immediately off
On the middle board there are three green ceramic pico fuses
If you know how to test them, then test them. If not, then just replace them. They are something like 5 for a dollar. They protect the image side of your TV from the power side. Some people have trouble with the capacitors, but I have never seen it happen. Chances are that you can fix it for a dollar.

I have a ws-65807. the power comes on but no picture or sound
I had the same thing happen to me. There was coolant leaking on the board. I cleaned it off and replaced three pico fuses and all was well. I had to go back in later because there was more leakage. That time I just cleaned off the board and installed a drip tray. I am sure I will get some more months out of it. Did you get it fixed or did you want some more help with it?
