I Have A Peavey Valveking

The answer all depends on the impedance of your speaker(s). A single speaker can be plugged into either jack. Set the switch to the impedance of your speaker. If you use two speakers, set the switch to one half of the impedance of the lowest impedance speaker. Very few speakers are 16 ohm types. Most are 8 ohms and some are 4 ohms. You could plug an 8 ohm into each of the jacks and set the switch to 4 ohms for example.

I just bought a used valveking 100 half stack and

Same thing... they probably broke both jacks. Sometimes the guts of the jack is broken and it doesn't appear to be broken but is broken internally. You may find broken solder on the pins to these jacks as well.

Note that the two input jacks have a different gain.

No sound

You would NOT use a stereo cable to plug in your guitar.

The stereo cable would carry the battery voltage back to the amp and MAYBE cause the fuse to blow.

You use a MONO instrument cable for your guitar.

The ring connection is use to complete the circuit to turn on the battery in most guitars.

Replace the fuse ONCE and get the proper instrument cable (NOT consumer audio cable) for your guitar.

If fuse blows again, take amp to shop for service.

Peavey 14 bt mixer won't pan. Keeps sending signal to both outputs

If your Peavey 14 BT mixer is not allowing you to pan the audio signal and is sending the same signal to both outputs, there could be a few potential reasons for this issue. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can take to address the problem: 1. **Check the Pan Controls:** Make sure you're using the correct pan controls for the channels you're trying to pan. The pan controls are typically knobs labeled "Pan" or "Balance" on each channel strip. Ensure that they're set to the desired positions. 2. **Reset Pan Controls:** If you've already adjusted the pan controls and they're not working as expected, try resetting them to their center positions. This can help eliminate any accidental settings that might be causing the issue. 3. **Channel Routing:** Some mixers have routing options that can affect panning. Check if there are any routing switches or buttons that might be affecting the signal routing for each channel. 4. **Mono/Stereo Mode:** Some mixers have a mono/stereo mode switch that can affect panning. Make sure the mixer is in the appropriate mode for your setup. 5. **Master Pan Control:** Ensure that the master stereo output pan control is set to the center position. If it's panned to one side, it can affect the overall stereo output. 6. **Test Different Channels:** Try panning different channels to see if the issue is specific to one channel or affecting multiple channels. 7. **Firmware/Software Update:** If your mixer has digital components or software control, check if there are any firmware updates available. Sometimes, software updates can address functionality issues. 8. **Physical Damage or Wear:** Inspect the pan controls and associated circuitry for any physical damage or wear that could be causing the issue. 9. **Factory Reset:** If none of the above steps resolve the issue, you might consider performing a factory reset on the mixer. Be sure to back up any important settings before doing this. 10. **Professional Service:** If the problem persists after trying these steps, it might be a more complex internal issue that requires professional servicing. Contact Peavey's customer support or a qualified audio technician for further assistance. Remember that the exact steps and controls can vary depending on the model of your Peavey mixer. Refer to the user manual for your specific model for more detailed information on troubleshooting and operation.

Serial number on my Peavey guitar?

My guess is 1985. I think the T-60 was made from 1978 to 1988. I can't find your number in the Peavey finder so I jumped to the following chart where I just rather made up where in might fit. I'm not sure if even peavey can help. https://www.guitarsite.com/database/Guitars/rec/2986/wwwboard/messages/41.shtml https://peavey.com/c/Support

Does the peavey xr-600b have phantom power

It does not have built-in phantom power. Phantom power is a method used to provide power to condenser microphones and other devices that require a small amount of power to operate. It is important to note that the XR-600B have XLR inputs which are typically used for condenser microphones that require phantom power but it does not provide this feature. If you want to use a condenser microphone with the XR-600B, you'll need an external phantom power supply or an audio interface that provides phantom power.

I have a electric Peavey guitar T-15 I and the strings was off when I got it.I was told that I need to put the strings on it to keep the neck from warping, and just snug them up.Is thattrue or not?

No. If you're going to store or display a guitar and not play it, its good practice to slightly ease the tension of the strings to prevent warping. Either way, you'll want to keep moisture and temps in mind to prevent neck warping

Looking for the fuse location on a Peavey KB2 amp.??

The back doesn't come off. On the back beside the cord hookup and beside Channel 1 Input are screws. You unscrew the two screws on either side. You then have four screws on the top of the amplifier. Unscrew those four screws and pull them out, six screws in total, then the amplifier will pull right out. You then pull the plug that attaches the speaker to the circuit board off and then you can do any kind of Maintenance or anything you want to the KB2. once inside the fuse is directly beside the heatsink 16580978522326776265122519194431-i0jh5gn5hmrc2jqfnumckiuz-d-0.jpg 16580979322615658009519643158353-i0jh5gn5hmrc2jqfnumckiuz-d-1.jpg 16580979322615658009519643158353-i0jh5gn5hmrc2jqfnumckiuz-d-2.jpg
