Is the bulb any good? If it has filament it can be tested with ohm meter. If no filament there will be a high energy ballast that feeds the bulb - that could be the culprit also.

if you replace the old by new one, and NOT light, the problem is power unit(ballast) inside , you must go to the repair shop . Merry Christmas

This could be for a variety of reasons.

First, check all your connections to make sure everything is connected properly and undamaged. If you are using a VGA cable/computer cable, make sure the pins are not bent.

Next, check the cables themselves. I do this by flexing the cable back and forth, starting at one end and working my way to the other. Go slowly and make sure to do this every few inches. If there is a damaged wire, this will cause the image on the screen to flicker or change color. Any damaged cables found should be replaced.

If this does not work, try removing individual cables and using a different one. Do this one cable at a time in order to try and identify where the problem might be. This is assuming you have spare cabling.

If everything is connected properly and nothing appears to be damaged, go into the projector menu and check all your color settings. You'll see you have a variety of options. If these are set to default and you still have discoloration, the problem is most likely internal and may require a technician.

One additional option is to check the data source to make sure all the settings on that are correct as well.
