I have just reset my lamp! Disconnect all cables but the power, switch on it will search for a source, the lamp timer message will display press exit untill it will give you a message to press menu to reset the lamp timer, it will give you a option to press left or right to reset. I used the buttons on the projector not the remote.

check the lamp,
does it look clean inside
is it fully home on the connecting pins
are the lamp door and fan switches made correctly

Try to do this, press the ENTER button on the TV and the MUTE button on the remote at the same time. After 5 seconds the screen should come up and it will read "Lamp use time...Total lamp use time ....lamp reset" Press the center button on your remote (the circle button right in the middle of the four directional buttons) and you will be reset to -0- again. Your orange light should now be off.

For the LG LED TV, you can find the manual and code information on the LG website. As to the codes for the remote, no I can't find them. BUT they might be in the user guide if the following site is legit. You do have to register to get its download. maxent rc 282 remote manual (suprlative-medai.com) I don't even know if they charge for it. I'm not that game to register. There are sites that sell the remote. I'd make use they sold the manual along with it! Just an idea, considering you have the remote. But it might be easier to pick up another universal remote from Wal-mart. The only other link to the manual turned out to be a guy who said in 2012 that he had the manual and for the person who was seeking it at the time to contact him. That suggests this is a pretty old remote you are trying to find the manual for. But maybe you will download it from the link I provided --at your own risk. Some such links are okay, others not. I would at least install Malwarebytes before trying the download.

Usually caused by overheating. It switches off to protect itself. Anonymous, yours sounds like the bulb has failed or the step up transformer. They used to be an HID arc lamp, but the specs say it is an LED! The vertical colored lines that usually show up on a TV's screen is caused by the T-Con board is not working properly. Lots of times this can very easily be caused by from wiring that is not been fully securely fastened.Or the T con board is not working and will have to be replaced.

Your projector will need to be repaired in order for the white lines to stop showing up.

Maybe the paper sensor isn't work properly. Check the sensor.

Your MacBook should recognize the default file system already used to pre-format the LG extenal hard drive at the factory. You'll be able to write and read from it without issue.
