My Panasonic KXDT343 phone is giving an error message when I try to change the time, it keeps saying limit exceeded. How can I get passed this?

Question edited for clarity. Wrong type of passed / past.I can't find that error message anywhere, and am guessing that you are in a section that isn't part of setting the time. First completely disconnect the phone for 5 minutes and then plug back in. There is a video here on setting the time.https://www.google.com/search?q=panasonic+kx-dt343+set+time..

Voicemail button redirected to phone line

If, perhaps you mean "it rings another one of our..." Phone Extensions, then just press the illuminated red message button, go to the ringing phone (the extension number will appear on your phone if you have a display phone) and answer the call by lifting the phone off-hook, then hang it up. Now the message button on your phone will work normally. What happened was that the user of the phone that was ringing when you pressed the button had inadvertently left you a "message waiting" after they called your phone on the intercom. By pressing the message button on your phone, you returned their call, and by answering the return call, you cleared the message waiting indication on your phone. There can be more than one message waiting, so if the light is still on after you clear the first call, using the procedure above, do it again and again until each call is returned, answered and cleared.

How do I turn off

There are messages or the light would be out. On an idle phone, press MESSAGE. Look at the display. It will tell you where the message came from and the 3rd soft key will let you CLEAR the message. When they're all gone, the light will go out.

How do you cut the intercom volume down? Every time the nurses at my job talk over the intercom, my patients and I cringe because the volume is so loud. Is there a way to cut it down on my side and ad

While the intercom or speaker phone is in use, you set the volume. Same as with the ring tone but it has to be used to set volume.
