Installed, great signal, won't stay connected, blinks on and off

Try reinstalling the drivers. Get an external powered usb hub and plug the adapter in to the hub. Get a cable to move the adapter away from your computer. Turn off all phones near your network adapter. RNX N1MAC

Which program do i use to install a rosewill rnxni

Hi, Lester.
Here is a link to the driver downloads for your wireless adapter.

http://www.rosewill.com/products/d_1126/productDetail.htm

Click on the tab for downloads, and then select the driver download for your operating system.
There is more than one version available for your device, I would go with the one that's listed as V1.5.1

That is the most recent version available.

I hope this helps you out.

Also, the manual is also available for download off of the same page.

Good luck with your download and installation, and have a good day.

I was told via the internet that i could hook up

I would first remove the Security off the router completely and then make sure the device can connect without any
security - IF it connects OK, then at least you know the wireless works all OK with the device Next, add the security back on, - Make sure the device does support the type of security you are using - WPA2 needs
special hardware to work - so you could start with WEP, or WPA It may also be a conflict with other wireless signals - like cordless phones, although, I would suspect that effects all
devices - But it maybe worth changing the wireless cahnnel used in the router - to avoid interference download and run
this program on a PC http://www.xirrus.com/library/wifitools.php Then run the program - If you get an error - You need [URL="http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?
FamilyId=333325FD-AE52-4E35-B531-508D977D32A6&displaylang=en"]NET Framework[/URL] installed for the WiFi Inspector to
function. Look at the wireless signals in your area and what channel they are using and the strength of the signal - where possible
try to use channel 1 or 6 or 11, as they do not overlap other channels If still an issue please comment back, and i will look into further

Laptop suddenly will not recognize my external hard drive

One thing to try is hooking it up to another computer. There is a possibility that the hard drive failed or the controller for the external storage device has failed. If it is recognized on another computer then I would look at the manufacturer's website for an updated driver

Can i use a rosewill lcd monitor as a tv

That depends upon what you are using with it. Monitors do not have integrated tuners and thus cannot select channels. However, most cable providers use set-top boxes that perform the channel selection function for you. Many of these boxes have HDMI outputs that can be used with monitors that have these input capabilities. Otherwise, you need separate audio and video connectivity from the cable box to the set, either in the form of composite video plus audio cables, or a DVI cable with audio cables. Again, this is dependent upon what the cable box and monitor support.
