I am sorry to say - but the U350 does NOT work with a sim card.

the "There is a plate blocking access to sim card" ---- what you are seeing is where the charger goes on the other side.

Use USB device from your cellphone to PC. Attach the usb to your cellphone and as the pc turns on plug the usb in your computer . Windows will automatically detects your cellphone. In your control panel open the cellphone drive and click and drag the files you want to transfer to your PC.

According to Verizon Technical Support, you'll have to take the phone to a Verizon store and have it flashed (reset to factory default).

Go to MENU, SETTINGS AND TOOLS, SOUNDS SETTINGS, READOUT, then select FLIP OPEN AND TALK, turn it off.

you should be able to purchase them over the phone. Or go to a store and get a card or verizon.com
