Have a Kenmore gas oven. About midway thru bake

F3 is a bad temperature sensor. Look in the top left or right of the oven for a short thin round metal piece sticking out of the back of the oven. Turn off the power to the range. Remove the screws, carefully pull the wires out through the front. Replace it with a new temp sensor and bake away.

Set oven to pre-heat to 350; won't go above 100

could be one of 3 problems: missing 240volts and only have 120volts(one leg out)/bad element(chk for "hot-spot") pitted and discolored-it will soon break there/or the thermocouple is bad that senses oven temp

Oven working no gas to range

Check to make sure that you are getting gas to the unit itself. If you are getting gas to the unit from the shut off valve. Then your problem would be the gas valve will need to be replaced. This is the only thing that would not let the gas flow to the unit itsef

Gas oven not working pilot light is out

1 of 2 things will normally happen and most of the time both things will break. You have two main componets that will wear out 1)your igniter 2)the gas burner tube. Usually what will happen is the gas burner tube allows gas to come out of 3 very small holes-over time and with help from grease, the 3 small holes will turn into a large hole and will allow too much gas to come out and it will destroy your igniter also. Luckly RepairClinic.com sells both pieces in a kit. You can check you igniter with multimeter for continuity (if it is broke-safety kicks in and wont allow gas to work).

Oven burner doesnt light

Doubt that the glow plug is bad. Gas only needs about 1100 degree F. to ignite using the glow plug method. It really seems as if there may be no gas getting to the burner. If there is no flame, you should be able to smell gas. If there is no gas smell, then I would look for the obvious such as: is the gas turned on?, Does the gas valve on the unit have a safety that is tripped? and so on. A new gas valve may be in order but make sure that it is receiving the proper voltage when the glow plug is on. Lastly, there may be a safety that is malfunctioning. If the unit does not light within a given time, the safety will "Lock Out" the unit so the place doesn't fill up with gas.
Hope this helps and good luck.

PF on my gas range?

PF is the nearly universal code for Power Failure. Most of the time, you will see this if you had just a momentary power interuption. Just clear it and don't worry about it.
Please don't rate this, as anything but a FixYa lowers my score, and for the most part, we do this all for free, so ratings are our reward.
