hi. thanks for the question .i would replace the bake igniter. that will solve your problem. happy graduation .thanks the appliance doc
Kenmore Oven
The igniter may need to be replaced again. The only way to know is to test it to see if it has enough amperage to light the gas. If it glows, but no lighting of the gas, get it tested.
Kenmore Gas Range
The igniter needs to be replaced. I had the exact same thing happen to
my oven. The igniter would glow, but after tested, it did not have
enough amperage to actually ignite the gas, so the gas kept running
with no ignition

Broiler Works/Oven Doesn't
Jrzy, even though you can see the bake igniter glowing, that doesn't mean it's good. Igniters actually get weak (unlike a light bulb that simply burns out). It's hooked up in series to a safety valve (the valve that allows main gas into the oven) which actually reads the amps flowing through the igniter. If the igniter is weak and the amps are too low, the valve won't open up.
Replace your igniter and you'll be cookin' with gas again.
Tip---> before you unscrew your old igniter, put a little liquid dish soap on the threads for lubrication. This'll ensure it comes out with no problems.
Door
Try pressing and holding the light switch.
Good Luck.
Oven burner pulsates
The gas regulator valve would also be my first guess. It seems to not be allowing enough gas into the system. When the top is on, only a small amount of fuel is required, and when properly mixed with the air all is well, but when you also put on the oven, the regulator won't allow enough gas into the system, so it's "burning lean". I'd get it fixed before it pulsates so bad that it actually blows out the flames and you're left with a propane smelling dangerous house.

Kenmore Gas wall oven flashes F7 Code
Hi Indy2008,
You can find my solution to the most common cause of the F7 problem at the following link:

I have helped over 1600 folks solve the F7 problem. The problem is usually with the touchpanel and not the ERC. My fix tells how to determine which part is faulty. Hopefully you will not need to purchase a new touchpanel, however, if you do, an internet search will lead you to lower cost sources.

Kemore Gas oven - trouble igniting
Hi Deeg, there was a service flash regarding this problem. The bake burner and bake igniter have been modified to assure consistent oven ignition and performance. The number of ports on the burner have increased located at the electrode tip. The electrode shield has also been modified. This repair should be covered under warranty. The kit part number is 8190618 for your information. If your serial number ranges from RK01 through RR11, this is your problem. I would call Sears and request service. Catriver.
Kenmore Gas oven is giving F8 error code
Unfortunately the F8 usually means an EEPROM data shift error. Try turning the power on and off several times. If error continues, you have no choice but to replace the ERC. Check on line for the best price. There is a group in the Chicago area that repairs ERCs. Check them out at www.cgiltd.com
The failure of the your power system may have been associated with a surge either as the power went off or when it came back on. It may have been the surge that did the damage.
Why does my Kenmore oven 790.7343312 randomly turn off?
There are several reasons why your Kenmore oven model 790.7343312 may be randomly turning off. Here are some possible causes:
- Power supply issues: Check if the oven is properly plugged in and if there are any issues with the power outlet or circuit breaker. Loose connections or faulty wiring can also cause power supply issues.
- Temperature sensor problems: The temperature sensor is responsible for regulating the oven's temperature. If it's malfunctioning, it can cause the oven to turn off randomly. You can check the sensor with a multimeter or call a professional to diagnose and fix the problem.
- Faulty control board: The control board controls the oven's various functions, and a malfunctioning one can cause the oven to turn off unexpectedly. Again, you can use a multimeter to check the control board's voltage output or seek professional help.
- Overheating: Overheating can cause the oven to shut down as a safety measure. Check if the oven's ventilation system is functioning correctly, and remove any obstructions that may be blocking the airflow.
- Malfunctioning oven door switch: If the oven door switch is malfunctioning, it can cause the oven to shut down randomly. Check if the switch is working correctly, and replace it if necessary.
