Heats up barely 2 oz

Probably bad magnetron, GE uses the worse mags OM75P is Junk. They go out frequently. And they charge a LOT for them. Find a place called Global MicroParts. They are in Texas. www.allapplianceparts.com They may sell wholesale only, Im not sure. But their parts work great and last.

Oven heats, but light, fan and turntable do not come on.

Hi Ted many microwaves have safety mechanisms to reverse, or stop the turntable if it senses resistance to the turning. This is done both because
  1. the turntable is usually driven by a small motor with a gear reduction transmission to get more torque on the glass platter and your food, and if something resists the turning, it can damage the gear train or belt if it keeps running.
  2. if you have something with liquid in it and it hits a wall, it could tip over, possibly spilling scalding liquid all over and maybe surprising the person who opens the door.
In some cases, it'll just stop and then try again the next time you run the microwave. The banging on the case sometimes turning things back on suggests that either something in the turntable mechanism is awry, or that there is a common hot wire, ground loop, or possibly fuse for the light/fan/turntable. the manual for the oven doesn't really say anything about this. You can see generic intructions on looking for an internal fuse here Panasonic Microwave NN CT552W has no power plug fuse ok Has it got thermal... . Please, in particular, make sure you unplug the oven before opening anything. This is one of those devices where defeating the interlocks and having it turn on can seriously hurt you. With regard to the turntable, in particular, it's really easy over time for exploded spaghetti sauce, spilled cocoa, and overmelted butter to have run down into the indentation in the middle of the bottom of the oven cavity. Remove the platter. Is it clean in there? Does it look like the 'this person never flosses' picture for mechanical rotors? If so, start with some kitchen cleaner and a washcloth damp (not soaked) with hot water. Let the cloth steam /warm the area a bit, wipe it down. repeat if necessary. If there's a lot of cruft built up there, that could be keeping you on the edge of safety shut-down. Good Luck! D

I've got a GE Advantium 120/Model ZCS1001KSS01, the display will get lines thru it, and comes in and out of view, and will always finish its cycle. however, when you go back to use, it is dead.

The problem with your Display of your GE Microwave/Speedcooker is not the Digitron WB27X10856 display board? The flickering and ultimately failure over of the display is due to the WB27X10861 GE microwave control board which is a rebranded (LG 6871W1A417/6871W1A417A board) which GE then sells as a markup. The princple purpose of this board is to convert (i.e. rectify) AC to DC at various voltage levels needed by the rest of the microwave to run their control circuits in the microwave. A portion of the GE microwave is always on so the AC/DC supplly is always on. Overtime the electrolytic capacitors in a section of the board fail or degrade to a point they the DC suppy starts to produce ripples in the DC power supply which results in circuit board failures. These ripples produce deep spikes of voltage of 120 Hz that the other circuits are sensitive too. I just exmined a failed WB27X10861 board and measued the capacitance of each of the seven electroylic capacitors. Of the 7 capacitors, 2 had failed over time. The others 5 have degraded 10 to 15 percent but still within their design spec. The two that failed, C07 - 1000uF 25 V had a measured value of 207uF and the other C08 - 220uF had a measured value of 13uF. There was no visible bloating on either SAMWHA SG capacitor. Nomally, these capacitors are rated at 2000 hour at 85 degree C. 2000 hr is only 83 days, but since the voltage is less and the temperature is probably 40 to 50 degrees inside the capacitor these capacitors may last 10 years. They harder they work the shorter the lifespan. There are two solutions, either purchase a new replacement control board or replace the failed C07 and C08 capacitors within the failed board with better ones. You can easily buy 10,000 hour , 105 degree C rated capacitors for probably 25 cents more than 2,000 hour capacitor. Most people don't have the resouces to repair a board so buying a new board is their only solution. Don't buy a used board on ebay because a used board is probably on the verge of failure.

Burn mark on plastic film of microwave door, can I patch with peel and stick plastic? GE MODEL JVM3670SK06

I would not risk it. Your better finding out why there is a burn mark there. The plastic film with the burn mark will be a specific one for microwave ovens. Basic peel and stick plastics could be the wrong type and it could also melt when the microwave gets hot.

GE Microwave Model JVM1752SP2SS shuts off after use. Has to be re-booted.

That issue sounds like it it likely to be the control board, or maybe a bad connection to it or a dry joint. https://www.fixya.com/support/r29874712-repairing_microwave_ovens ..

My GE space maker model JVM240BL001 the power is on the digital display reads Enter NORM SOUND 2

Hello, friend! It is noteworthy that if the GE Spacemaker microwave model JVM240BL001 is displaying "Enter NORM SOUND 2" on the digital display, it indicates that the microwave is in the programming mode for adjusting the sound level. To exit this mode and return to normal operation, you can try the following steps:
  1. Press the "Clear" or "Cancel" button. This should clear the programming mode and bring the microwave back to its normal state.
  2. If pressing the "Clear" or "Cancel" button doesn't work, you can try unplugging the microwave from the power outlet for about a minute. Then plug it back in and see if it resets the display.
  3. If the issue persists, consult the user manual for your specific model. The manual may provide additional instructions or troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue.
