When you disconnect your battery and then reconnect it again, it disables the radio. This is an anti-theft protection for your car radio. The enable your radio the activation code is in your vehicle owner's manual. If you do not have this code you need to go to your vehicle manufacturer's service centre and get them to enter this code for you.

You can get a wire harness and the mounting hardware at any stero instlation shop in your area. They will sell you the parts to install yourself.

Certain headunits be it factory and/or aftermarket have lock codes in them so in the event that someone were to steal your radio they would not be able to use it. Most of the factory unlock codes are in the vehicles owners manual. you can check there but if its not there you're going to have to go to the dealer to have it unlocked. Most of the time they will not and sometimes cannot give those codes out over the phone. Hope this helps...

Hello farooqum,
The main 2 reasons for such a failure are: 1) Fuel not getting to the cylinders; 2) No spark at the plugs. In either case, it's most likely a tow to your friendly mechanic. While it's possible for you to do the basic troubleshooting and determine the exact problem, it will most likely require removal and replacement of the defective part(s).

No, but you can easily add a line output converter to your system, I do recommend spending a few extra bucks on one with a built in line driver, so you can bet a much better signal, but if you only plan on running one amp either one will be fine..
