Make sure you have water flow. 40 gpm is your required flow rate, if you are not connected to the plumbing properly you could be causing an issue.

bummer hi limit wont do that but tep sensor will or control board also make sure water is flowing freely, you will want to check the manifold bypass and thermal regulator

128 r13 is not an error code. its the startup sequence of that heater

To all,
I know nothing about the heaters. I heard the fan run, then the click for the igniter, but did not hear the flame ignite. After studying the manual, I figured it is probably The igniter gone bad. With the help of The manual, I figured out where it was and what tools I would need. For the heck of it, I wiggled the 2 wires, put the covers back on and it fired up. It has been running for 3 hrs non stop and of course went up 4 degrees. I ordered the part anyways knowing this is a temporary solution. FYI I have the “Pentair 125”
