Culligan Under Sink Water Filter Questions & Answers
I have a leak with
plastic line and fitting are a snap in item
push the line in and at the same time press in the ring at the end of the fitting
that releases the clamping action of the line
make sure that the water is turned off and the pressure in the line is released
Low pressure
Depending on your faucet, I bet the problem is some debris that came loose and is blocking the flow at the valve that the faucet handle turns. 5 minute fix.
Turn off the water supply under the sink
Get a Phillips screwdriver and a flathead one
Get a pair of expanding pliers
Usually, the faucet handle comes off straight up when you remove the Phillips screw on top. If you cant see a screw, it may be hidden by a cosmetic cap (this is what the flathead is used for-to pop the cover off)
When you remove the handle, there will be a section that needs to be removed using the pliers turning counter clockwise. Once that comes up, the valve should lift straight out.
I bet you will se a debris obstruction there....easy fix to clean it.
Reassemble in reverse.
I hope this works.
Water comes very slowly from Kent RO faucet and to fridge.
If it has only been one year, check the warranty. Who said that it needed to be replaced? Oftentimes, a repairman can adjust the pressure to increase the outflow without needing to replace the whole unit.

The faucet drips. the water has been shut down for
The rubber washers tend to perish after a while and with the water off the rubber has most likely dried out. You need to pull the tap apart and change the rubber washers to put things right. It's not a hard job to do yourself but there are 4 standard sizes of tap-spanner; one of them is probably right! Give the whole assembly a rinse with water from a jug you set aside before shutting off the main water out the front of the house. <ahem> That's right, before you dismantle the tap make sure you shut off the water supply to the house! If you're still not sure, call your local handyman to do the job. He can probably do it on a shorter time frame and just as well as a plumber.
Model whed2o water filters leaks water around top
Contact Whirlpool directly. Filters may be faulty however it is likely an installation problem. They may be able to walk you through the installation process to check everything is done right. If you're lucky and they decide the filters are faulty, you may get a new pair free!
Culligan AC-30 osmosis water system housing leak
Depending on which type of plastic you have, it should say on it somewhere and it should look like a triangle and it will tell u pvc or nilon or abc. Then go get that type of glue and seal it with the correct glue. You could also use a food grade silicone, but remember to rough it up with some sand paper.
Change filters on culligan h-83
You can get replacement cartridges for all the H series through AC series RO systems on line from several suppliers. I use them and they work just fine.RJH2O
Slow culligan drinking fauset
check the micro setting of the cartridge and if it is ceramic or not. If ceramic and it is dirty and slimy then all you need is the back of a knife and scrape it back until the ceramic is clean. If it is carbon it may be blocked and will need replacing with a new one.
My RO light has changed
Green is the color it should be when producing GOOD (low TDS) water. A constant Red light indicates the TDS is high (relative to what the normal TDS rejection is on your water supply) and the membrane needs to be replaced. Frequently the TDS light will be RED when initially drawing water at the RO faucet because of a spike of TDS coming through membrane from static water in line.
I suggest taking a sample of pretreated water and RO water to a dealer for a TDS test to see if the Membrane needs replacing.

How does one increase the pressure in the holding
If by "Holding Tank" you are referring to the bladder tank for your RO, then you need to turn the water off to the RO system, drain the RO tank of any water, check the pressure with a tire gauge at the air valve (just like there is on a car tire). A 3 gallon tank should have about 7psi of air.RJ
I have a Culligan AC
When you put air in the tank did you make sure all the water was out of tank? In a three gallon tank there should be 7 lbs of air, 10 gallon 10 lbs of air.
There can be many reasons for no water in tank.
1. Bad bladder in holding tank. No back pressure on membrane (all water going to drain)
2. Faulty membrane (all the water going to drain)
3. Bad capillary tube (all the water going to drain)
4. Plugged check valve at top of membrane (no water)
5. Faulty water feed valve (piercing valve)
6. Fines from post carbon filter have plugged up the manifold (head) of RO unit.
7. Bad valve on RO tank
8. Plugged drain line

Culligan water machine water is flowing very
The storage tank is probably bad. Shut all the water off to the RO, drain all the water from the RO tank, check the air pressure with a low pressure tire gauge. PSI should be 7psi with a 3 gallon tank. 12psi with a 10 gallon tank.Add air to tank with a bicycle pump.RJ
6 stage ro system under counter style will not
If the RO is not shutting off and there is no water from tank there are several things to check.1. The product water tank is probably low on air. The tank may be full but no water will come out. Put enough air in tank to force out all the water then reset air pre-charge to 7psi for 3 gallon tank.2. The capillary tube / check valve of RO system is bad. This puts back pressure on membrane to help create water. 3. The Automatic shutoff is not working, causing the unit to run constantly.I would have to know what model RO it is to narrow down the problem further.Depending on the Membrane production 10, 25 gpd, etc. and the TDS of water it may take 24 hrs to fill the tank.RJ
Culligan n8 black hose fell off and water was
If the "black hose" is about 1/2" in diameter it attaches to the drain elbow on the left side of the valve. Use a hose clamp, cut some of the drain line back (about 2") slide it back on the drain elbow and clamp it on the elbow. If the black hose is 3/8" it attaches to the fitting on the salt tank, which attaches to the float. If it broke because it is brittle I would go to any water treatment dealer and get a new piece of "brine line" to replace it.RJ
