Skagen 528SSLG Wrist Watch - Page 8 Questions & Answers
Best way to clean my
Unless it is totaly trashed, the best way to keep your watch looking good is to get yourself a jewelers cloth ( rough cloth) which you can buy at alot of jewelry stores, and jewelry departments at bigger stores. The cloth has a rough (a brightening agent) that when you rub it on your watch shines it up like new. Make sure you get a gold jewelers cloth ( not a silver one) since your watch is rose gold coloured) and usually you have to open it up becuse the outside is just a regular cloth and the rough is in the middle of the cloth. The instructions you get with the cloth should tell you how to use the cloth. Good luck!!
WHERE TO ORDER sKAGEN REPLACEMENT
Go to Skagen .com. They will help you. Look on the back of your watch for the watch type. It usually starts with # and then some letters. Have that ready when you either talk to someone or order on line. Skagen is a good company, they should be able to get you your band in about 4-6 weeks.

The woven metal strap of
I am sorry to say you can't do much about that, unless you have the band soldered9which can be costly) Skagen is a really good company, and will send you another if you get ahold of them. I have seen them do this sometimes for free (not usually though). I don't know if the band is one piece with the casing , if not Spiedel. and Hadley Roma make mesh bands that will fit most watches if you want to go that route. Skagen has a web sight go there and get their phone #, have the model # ready (on the back of the watch) They will help you. If you find you still have a problem please let me know, and I will assit you further. Good luck!!
I've replaced the battery on
O.K this is a tough one, because a watch maker has a press to do this. I don't know if your watch has a round crystal or if the crystal is domed. If it is round and flat, lay the watch down with the crystal side face down. Lay it on a flat scratch-proof item. Take a wooden handle that has a domed end to it. Take the back and lay it on the watch case, making sure that the knotch on the back is aliegned with the setting crown. Take the wooden tool and using the domed end put a little pressure on the endge watch case near the edge, and slowley go around the back, it should snap into place. If it's a domed or square crystal, that's a little harder and all I can think of is finding a round concaved something that fits aroung the edge of the casing NOT hitting the crystal ,and do the same thing as with the flat crystal ( go around the edge putting a little pressure on the back) For a square crystal

ZERO-SETTING OF THE SECONDS-HAND & SUB-SECOND HAND ON THE SECTOR ADV1000 CHRONOGRAPH.
NOTE: The pusher buttons A, B & C are positioned on the watch at the 2 o'clock (A), 10 o'clock (B) & 8 o'clock positions (C), while the crown is at the 4 o'clock position.
1) Set the crown at the normal (in) position.
2) Push the B button twice.
3) Pull out the crown to the 2nd position (fully out).
a.) Seconds-hand setting: a push of button A moves the 2nd hand by 1 second. Move it until it is at the zero position.
b.) 2/100ths second hand: a push of button B moves the 2/100ths second hand by one 2/100ths second. A continuous push moves it quickly. Move it until it is at the zero position.
4) Push the crown back in to normal position.
QUICK-SET OF THE CALENDAR DATE
With the alarm switch off, pull out the crown halfway to the first "out" position (not fully out). Turn the crown clockwise to quick-set the date.
