If your flywheel went out, you've got major problems. You must have the correct flywheel for our bike. You cannot use a flywheel for an earlier model, it must be one designed for the Evo Sportster engine. Now, you can get a complete aftermarket flywheel from someone like S&S maybe. But, it still must be specifically for your bike.

1988 Ford Ranger Starter spins will not engage flywheel

Fixed it get a flywheel shim .0040. For the 2.9.v6 amazing it works like a brand new engine. 5 starters 3 flywheels and all it needed was a shim that is made for that engine.

What is the resistance of the front blinkers on a 94 1200 sporty? removed front blinkers and the back do not blink

There is no resistance. The blinkers need a cretain amount of current being drawn to work properly. With one bulb missing then the current draw has dropped.
Look into an electronic flasher relay. They are designed to automaticaly adjust for the difference in curent draw. Such as the huge difference when a person changes the incandesent bulbs for LED which draw very little current.

Removing primary cover on 04 1200c

To remove the primary cover from you Sporty, you'll have to remove the shifter and foot peg. Then loosen the locknut for the primary chain adjuster and turn the adjuster downwards to loosen the primary chain. Then remove the plug at the bottom rear of the plug to drain the oil from the primary. Remove the clutch release mechanism cover from the outer primary. Remove the spring and locknut. Turn the clutch adjuster screw as far clockwise as you can turn it. Then remove all the bolts around the outside of the cover. While pulling the outer cover gently away from the engine, turn the clutch adjuster screw clockwise until the cover comes off.

Good Luck

Why is there oil in my air filter? where is it coming from? 2006 883 L with 2000 miles.

This is normal on the sporty. I rode a 1200c for many years and from time to time some blowback would accumulate in the filter and drip from the bottom of the filter cover. Just clean it off and enjoy the ride.

Need to remove full time power to turn signal lamp for Euro compl

Their are 6 HD dealers in Sweden, I would contact the nearest dealer and ask them what you need to do. I'm pretty sure it is some type of relay that needs to be changed.

Dead Sporty

If the battery has a charge and the connections are all good, you have to have some juice goin through your system and should at the very least get a headlight, IF the bike knows its on. I'd check the starter switch on the handle bar.....did u kill it
accidently...its happened before.....maybe a leads popped off the key switch.
if that all fails
Sometimes battery connections look good, but arent. Try torquing them a little tighter.....good luck
