My silverwing won't start or even turnover

I have a 2006 Honda FSC600 Silver Wing, the problem is that the bike won't start, or even turnover, I installed a fully charged Battery, the kick stand is up, the kill switch is on, I can hear the brakes "Click" when I push the Start button, the head light will dim out, and it may start 1 time out of a 100 tries, and the again, it won't start. When it starts I don't do nothing different, just push the start button and it starts, and then after properly warmed up, it Won't start again.
Any suggestions, solutions are welcome.
Thanks a lot.

I'm having the same problem with an 2012 Honda Silver Wing ABS. This is a brand new scooter and will only start 1 time out of every 50 tries. No rhyme or reason. Right now, it's back at the dealer for them to try to figure out. Unacceptable for a Honda product!!

Same problem with my 2006 Silverwing. I believe it is the kickstand switch. If I snap it up and down several times it seems to fix it, and it starts. So far have not been able to get at the actual switch.Or ascertain what kind of switch it is.Admittedly it is necessary to pull surprisingly ******* the handbrake.

Found out that the brake had to be depressed all the way, and not just until you hear the "click". Squeeze the brake hard, and it will start every time. It's a safety feature that Honda has to ensure that the scooter is in control once it's started.

I have the same problem on 2007 Honda Silver Wing. It will start and run just find, let it set for a day and it will not start, I have the same problem. H ave you found out the reason for this problem? Kenny, I think it could be the starter brush problem.I have been a bike machanic for 37 years, and this is the only bike , or scooter that has me stumped.

Replaced break safety but it did not help. I could hear the sound "click" somewhere from the below the seat and that's it.

Had the same problem on my '03 Swing with 12K miles. FIXED THE PROBLEM with a heavy squirting of electrical/electronic contact cleaner on the left brake switch - you can see the brake handle move the switch when you pull the brake handle in. Also heavily squirted the starter switch that you push with your right thumb to start the bike. Squirted the hell out of both of them and no more starting problem. Be sure to cover the bike with old towels or something - electrical/electronic contact cleaner is not good for paint and it's ******* plastic. Hope this helps your scoots too.

My 2003 silver wing 600 does not start, the starter runs but the engine does not start..what should I do?

I have a '05 Silverwing 400, while riding, the engine cuts off, FI light shows and it cranks but will not start up anymore. I've checked whatever I can to figure out the problem which includes side stand switch, relays, fuses, stop switch, fuel pump, coil, swapped a CDI with another Silverwing(this bike has no immobilizer) CDI from mine works fine on the other bike. There's no spark, FI lights remains on. Anyone encountered this problem?? I am at a lost.
