Gsxr1000 k5 limited edition (black) clunky gearbox

My suzuki gsxr1000 has a very clunky gearbox uneless i take the revs over 3000rpm below this it clunks like hell can any body help me i thought it might be something to do with the oil the clutch is perfect

    but mate the engine oil drives the gearbox aswell on these bikes only 2 stroke are seperate lubrications

Don't do that unless you want your bike to go bang. The engine and gearbox share the same sump, so I suggest a manufacturer suggested synthetic. Maybe your running a heavier mineral base, not sure.

Change the oil in the gearbox.Hidraulik oil is the best.

    Indifferent if is 2 stroke or 4 stroke change the oil.
    Put transmision oil in gearbox.

Most sports bikes are limited to 300km/h by the manufacturers in an effort to be responsible. Actually the ? was about the 1000 not "most sport bikes". The Suzuki gsxr1000 for 2007 is rev limited to 184 mph. U do the math to figure out kph but in the U.S. who cares about the metric numbers.
