Suzuki GSX-R1000. Red engine light won't go off?

Question edited for clarity. Question moved from Cars and Trucks to correct category. apparently, it is 'FI' not F1 and stands for Fault Identification. It is the same as the engine light on a car. A code scanner, or 'Dealer Mode' tells the fault. https://www.gixxer.com/threads/2007-gsxr-600-f1-error-code.506522/ Pput your bike in dealer mode (search "dealer mode"), FI Not F1, means Fault Indication. This is your ECM telling you there is something wrong. Dealer mode will give you a code, ie. C46 = EXCVA malfunction. When you get the code, we can help you, without the code it's all guess work, just like Mickking just did. If the FI goes away, put it in dealer mode and ride it around, it will most likely come back and will be displayed right there in front your face. Hi, i went for a ride 3 days ago and parked the bike in the garage since, this morning my k8 gsxr 1000 didn't want to start, when pressing the starter button I hear a click sound from under the seat.

Bad connections somewhere between switch and battery. Has also got to do through fuses and relays.

How to fix the -C40 code

C40 Idle speed control valve (ISC valve)... Will your bike start without the clutch pulled in? Sometimes aftermarket levers do not actuate the pin as needed.Wouldn't hurt to pull apart and clean all electrical connectors, inc the ones under the airbox.

Red light on odometer comes on.... And f1 light

That is the Suzuki equivalent to a "Check engine light"

Turn your key on and verify the FI light is on and that your red kill switch is set to 'Run'

Remove your seat and behind the battery area you should find a white 6 pin connector (likely with a black rubber boot on it) Using a paperclip connect the white/red striped wire to the black/white striped wire.

Your display should Now read whatever codes are active.
If it reads C00- then there are no active codes. Note that when you turn the key off, the memory is erased so if you have an intermittent fault you should not turn the key off until you pull the codes.

Codes are as follows:

C11 - CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR
C12 - CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR
C13 - INTAKE AIR PRESSURE SENSOR
C14 - THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR
C15 - ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR
C21 - INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR

C23 - TIPOVER SENSOR
C24 - IGNITION SIGNAL #1
C25 - IGNITION SIGNAL #2
C26 - IGNITION SIGNAL #3

Bike runs but sounds like a ducatti

What's wrong with that... Dukati's are awsome! Has the performance changed at all? Look for any exaust leaks. Most likely you have a compromised seal in the exaust some where. Closely check every connection... the O seal at the manifold could be blown out or loose. Possibly the packing in the baffle is blown out (this happens over time) and it will need either repacked for replaced. Hope this will help you find the cure.
