It sounds like you have a short in your start button wires, this could be caused by having custom bars with internal wiring. The wires chafe, touch, and it bypass's the button altogether. I would check continuity at the connector on the 2 wires of your start button and see if it changes whether the switch is depressed or not. If you have continuity both ways, you have a short. You should not have continuity unless you depress the button. If all looks well, re-post.

2004 Buick Century Custom starting issues

Sounds like the fuel pump is bleeding down when it sits, the fuel pressure regulator could be leaking into the engine or if the engine misses when it first starts it could be a leaking injector. Do this, check the test port for pressure with the key on engine off if there's pressure cycle the switch again and then let it sit for 5 minutes then recheck and if there's no pressure disconnect and plug the fuel line going into the fuel rail or regulator then cycle the switch again and if it still loses pressure and there are no visible external leaks it's the fuel pump.

Electric fine bike wont start

Many motorcycles that are newer have a built in safety device that keeps the bike from starting when the battery is too low to keep from burning out components from running low on voltage. Can you hook a battery charger to it and have it start or is it just turning over and not starting? Without any details about your problem it is hard to troubleshoot. Has the bike been ridden recently, has it been setting so the carb is gummed up, is it fuel injected, does it have an electric fuel pump?

Fob on 2004 fatboy

The FOB is a security device that will help protect your bike. If it is far enough away (i think 20 feet) your bike will not start, Without the FOB the fuel pump will not run and the lights will flash on and off. When you come back to the bike with the FOB the bike will run normaly. So do not leave it with the bike unless you want it gone when you come back.

How to repair the fuel pump on my 02 FLSTFI Fatboy

normally if you dont hear the fuel pump when you first turn it on then it shouldnt start at all. sometimes if you know where the pump is you can turn on ignition and run switch while touching the pump, you will feel if it's working. if not, check fuses, may be just blown. if fuel pump is working but dont shut off when motor starts then its not getting enough gas, try changing fuel filter. as for the GUM Berrymans B12 seems to do the trick for me, get the fuel additive and follow directions on the can.

Start with the battery and make sure u have at least 12.5 volts and good cable connections
1. Are the plugs fouled ?
2.Fuel filter clogged ?
3.Check all the (vacuum) lines for tight connection
4. Sparg plug cables, coil
5.Ignition timing, sensors
