Why does 2005 kawasaki zx6r have problems with their fuel injection systems?

every bike is known for something - since the internet exists, everyone with the problem (even 5% of people) post their one problem and it seems like it happens to everyone. Really, you are only seeing the 'everyone' who have suffered the problem.

What is the cause of low charging

Get the battery tested first, if it has 1 bad cell it may appear fully charged on the read out on a charger but 15 miles down the road it can just die off, running the bike on 3 cyls, then cutting out all together, one other point to make is you can buy brand new batteries that can be duds, so if you do get one consider someone local to you so you can take it back. Other checks to make are the bikes charging system is the generator, this will give a specific read out on continuity testers (trawl the net for the spec) and its not unusual for a generator to reach the end of its life sooner than people think. I,ll see if I can find out what the generator read outs should be. so email me with your email. [email protected]

Clutch case cover is probably the one. This is dealer item, and you will need a new gasket.

2005 ZX 636 will not start

Have you drained the old petrol from the carbs? Do this by way of the drain screw at the bottom of each carb.
As long as there is a spark it should now fire-up

Good Luck
Hope this helps.
(If it does then please mark this as 'useful')

Temp on highway 146 through

Check your fan by giving it directly 12V DC. If it runs, go to the temperature sensor, and check it also, by unscrewing it, and applying heat on the copper side with a lighter. At the same time see if you get indication at Ohm scale on a multimeter connected at the two connectors of the sensor. If you see nothing, your sensor is dead...

How to recharge the battery on a 2005 636 ninja?

Assuming you have just left the bike for a while and not removed a battery lead so it is flat (not the alternator is shot), then bumb start the bike and take her for a 5 mile journey, without stopping too much. Do some low speed, 3rd gear pulls to 60mph. This will charge the battery.

If it is the original battery, and it doesn't recharge after this, check the condition of the alternator and get a new battery.

Hope this helps matey :)

My 05 636 turns on

Hi and welcome to FixYa,

Initial checks with the engine running:
  • ACV on any pairing of black to black wires coming from stator that is directly proportional to RPM;
  • IGN+12 on black/red wire to R/R and/or brown wire to connector (use testlight);
  • +12 on black/blue wire to R/R and/or white to connector (use testlight);
  • ensure black/yellow to R/R connector (black/white to R/R) is tied to frame & battery ground.
There may be variations on wire colors due to regional differences.

Good luck and thank you for asking FixYa.

Color of coolant

Color is just that, it just looks pretty. You need to use either the genuine Kawasaki anti-freeze or dex-cool style anti-freeze. Motorcycles use a ceramic washer in the water pump that is prone to damage if you use silica style standard automotive antifreeze. If you dont have a dealer near you Dex-cool is available at most auto stores.

My 05 kawasaki ninja 636 will not start. the

I am not familiar with Kawasaki's but with Suzukis you need to hold the clutch before yuo can start it. If this is the case and you are, then it might be the switch is defective or the wire has come loose. It might also be worth checking the kill switch is in the run position. The humming noise is the fuel pump priming and is normal

Try blowing out the radiator with compressed air into the rear of the radiator--bugs and other stuff can block air flow.
