Cars been setting for two days now . I went to check the starter like suggested. But thought id see if it starts by the key first ,It started right up, I turned it off and restarted it perfectly, again. Turned it off again and it went back to the original problem. dash lights on but no contact to starter.
First make certain there is no immobiliser to cause trouble - a few cars had them by 1990.
If there is no immobiliser the trouble could be anything from a broken or worn steering lock, faulty ignition switch through to a faulty starter and/or solenoid.
Check the starter by manually energising the solenoid. If the engine cranks the starter and solenoid are ok and it is time to check a few voltages to determine where in the circuit the fault is. If there is a starter relay it would be a good idea to check that and the voltages next...
SOURCE: 1994 chrysler lee baron fuel pump whining
the pump whines, alot of pumps whine or hum a little, this is normal, even a new installed pump may whine, you will hear it run, i wouldnt worry about it,
SOURCE: Fuel pump in 1966 Chrysler Sebring convertible
mcdevito75 here, You"ll have to make sure all fuses and relays are working, could also be a bad fuel pump. Have a shop check it out. If you belomg to a AAA club towing could be free.
SOURCE: is there a list for
Yes here is that list.
